hard to pinpoint, must have waked over it half a dozen timesShutterlag23/10/2023
Short visit with dog then a pint in maybe the highest beer garden in Trafford UAjoed29318/07/2023
Easy parking on Green Walk (quiet no through road). Parked about 75m NW of summit telegraph pole, but could have parked closer. Impressive parish church.gerrybowes09/04/2023
Circular walk from Dunham Massey on a freezing day with treacherous ice underfootLazylizzie18/12/2022
Parked near churchJK20/11/2022
Felt ever so slightly out of place, in my cheap-yet-practical Decathlon pants and regatta sweater which served me well for my earlier jaunts up in the Peaks. I did at least have my Italian sports car with me like some of the residents no doubt have parked in their garage(s), only mines an 8 year old Alfa Romeo with broken A/C and a faulty phone charging port.Alfa1M25/10/2022
A midweek evening walk. Parked by the church. Visited the summit, then a circular walk taking in Denzell Gardens and Watch Hill Castle.justin_j_evans14/09/2022
Parked near Bowdon church (ringing the bells after bagging highpoint). Visited summit and alternative highpoints.PGCE09/08/2022
In passing, on the way to my Auntie's 90th birthday meal out at Sale water park.Minto07/03/2022
Pre-dawn slow drive in a inky black winter night and dense fog from overnight at friends in Knutsford. So dark and surreal -like the end of the world with no natural light. So pleased to welcome a half light grey foggy dawn at this summit. Walked around - the gargoyles on the churchyard leering out of the fog. This hill top village is one of Manchester's desirable affluent areas still sporting the large villas once popular with the Merchant Princes in the 1840s who could enjoy the clean air up here (far enough away and upwind of the polluting chimney factory smoke in the city ) and commute into Manchester on the railway from 1849.Chris Pearson14/12/2021
Decided to visit all the sub P30s within 100km of my house. Only just realised that this is the HP of Trafford UA.GordonAdshead16/09/2020
15 degrees, sunny, breezy, after work in Warrington. The land of the other half. Stopped after the main summit to bag the Woodville Road possible high point and parked serendipitously outside the birth place of John Ireland On St Margaret's Road.Wycombe Wanderer10/07/2020
Parked the car next to the telegraph pole, got out had a walk around to stretch the legs and then moved on to the next objective.WAYNE ROWLETT07/06/2020

Got a lift straight to the top from John - probably the poshest UA top in the country. Had a bit of a wander around and was eyed with suspicion by a passing security patrol.Richard31/03/2019
Interesting cut benchmark on the church, which is a trig intersected station - all good reasons to walk along this road!jonglew28/03/2019
On own. Easy parking on Green Walk (cul-de-sac) and over to telegraph pole. Had a walk up and down. Very posh!Beeliner11/03/2019
With Jo. Got out the car and locked the doors before realising we were actually parked on the summit. Also visited both possible alternatives. Weather; dull but dry. Had a nice time later visiting Dunham Massey Deer Park and Gardens.amblerbob16/10/2018

Last of seven county/UA tops today round Merseyside/ Manchester today. This one very posh indeed. Parked, did the top and then had a mug of tea from the flask. Good job it was pitch dark.Campbell Singer26/11/2017
Very expensive houses. Shame it was so dark.Barbara Singer26/11/2017

After dropping Jess at School. Parked in St Margarets Road, along The Firs and then Green Walk....returned via footpaths across a field behind Denzell GardensDave06/10/2016
A pleasantly leafy walk. If the holly hedge into which the telegraph pole is embedded wasn't so well maintained, this might be quite a tricky summit to reach.Nick Down112/09/2016
With my daughter and the dog on our way back from Mellor Moor, I was going to walk up the street but was upon it befor I relised and just walked back up, but it is a top? What else is there to say?Walkingthedog27/08/2016
Short detour from M6 while heading home. Simple roadside park, get out wander about get back in.rhalstead26/06/2016
After a walk to bag the trig on Carrington Moss we headed for the heady heights of the Trafford UA top - parked on Green Walk then a bit of a debate as regards the highest point (telegraph pole) but we found it. Nice church (my great grandparents are buried there).briandavies04/06/2016
A very well-planned and well-executed expedition across the pavement to the telegraph pole!Pleasant(and,no doubt, expensive)area. With Bridget.catman24/10/2015

I went to SJ 75779 86935 on the way back from a few days in the Lake Districe climbing Great Gable and Place Fell so couldn't really care less where the top is - just that I've been there.clivevilla09/05/2015
After visiting Heaton Park, I got the tram to Altrincham then a train to Hale and walked up through Bowdon, along Green Walk and The Devisdale before taking the main road back to Alty. Sickeningly rich but undeniably pleasant. Not totally convinced by the 67m top, the ground towards Dunham felt a bit higher.Jake99412/12/2014
Stopped by The Cedars as described.Newton Maximus17/09/2014

Having made previous unsuccessful visit trying to locate the top in Devisdale made visit to the Cedars and also the covered reservoir with spot height 69m. Highest point is the raised golf tee at the SE corner with GR SJ7534087474.PeteF16/02/2013
