A nice place to wander to after the main hill. | summitter | 29/08/2022 |
Quick run from Crank Road. Fantastic countryside hereabouts if unspectacular 'summit' in field corner | John Eley | 26/08/2022 |

I was forced by Tier 3 Covid-19 restrictions to stay in my own area so I decided to tick this one off. Billinge Hill itself is interesting but this is just a 'tick'. | Alan Moore | 28/10/2020 |
10km run with Will from Orrell Water Park | mcarney | 24/10/2020 |
Should have picked this one off when I did the Marilyn Billinge Hill back in Jan 2018, but I was not 'doing' UACs then.
Anyway found a better start point for both hills from small layby on Crank Lane SE of fp to Mill House. Took fp from Millhouse and staying on it to pass all round summit approaching it along field boundary from the ENE. Well and truly bagged in shorts at expense of few nettle stings. | mntainman | 23/08/2020 |

Upholland station - Crank Hill - Billinge Hill - N Top - Orrell. Took a quick detour off the road to get this quite pointless top in. | Jake994 | 17/07/2020 |

Parked the car in the lay by on Crank Road in between the two footpaths, followed right of way then field edge a quick ten minute leg stretcher. | WAYNE ROWLETT | 07/06/2020 |
From Rainford, climbing Billinge Hill North Top and Billinge Hill. With JT. | Sprog | 25/04/2020 |
Roadside pull-in alongside the start of the footpath before the summit col. Easy walk to a difficult to spot summit which lies to your right alongside a hedge, not in the field on your left. | moorsman | 07/03/2020 |

Solo from small lay-by on Crank Rd at SD 52118 01679. Billinge Hill (12 mins to summit) & Billinge Hill N Top (13 mins). | ADT | 19/03/2019 |
On own. Parking possible at NW end of Beacon Road just past The Old Vicarage where road becomes a track. Easy walk up to Billinge Hill summit and trig point then continued on muddy paths past Beacon Farm, over Crank Road along path then field margin to Billinge Hill North Top. No crops on my visit but could be difficult at another time of year. Pleasantly surprised by good views from here. Return along path next to golf course. | Beeliner | 11/03/2019 |
For both Billinge Hill and Billinge Hill North Top, parked in gateway of communications tower SD522018. | David Evans | 08/03/2019 |

3 of 3 starting in pimbo road in kings moss. Including crank hill, billinge hill and the north top. Very pleasant walk up until bumping into about 30 fox hunters. Horrible little men | The-Z-Man | 13/01/2018 |
A circular route crossing the road and including Billinge Hill. Hp is slight rise c 12m from corner of ploughed field, just off path. Bright sun and extensive views but cold wind. | Denise | 27/12/2017 |
Billinge Hill from Orrell station including the North Top | Mark Jackson | 22/12/2017 |
From the bend on Crank Road along the footpath with runs round the edge of a very muddy field. Great viewpoint from this area. When we lived at the bottom of the hill in Rainford 40 years ago we never visited up here. | Campbell Singer | 26/11/2017 |
