5th and penultimate top of a 15.3km route from the Wraysholme Crossing to Grange over Sands station, climbing Humphrey Head, Applebury Hill, Wart Barrow and Hampsfell (Wainwright Outlier) then easilyup to explore the Limestone pavement, carefully moving across it in the wet conditions. W Jenx on recovery walk. Park down on road in lay-by room for three cars nr Golf Club entrance at GR396778. Followed lane to FP onto hill.
