Cairngorm Club weekend meet at Muir Cottage. With two fellow members I had reached Derry Cairngorm. I continued alone in whiteout conditions with very strong wind to reach Sgùrr an Lochain Uaine and then Creagan a Choire Etchachan. I descended NW and returned to Linn of Dee via Hutchison hut and Glen Derry. I came out of the mist above the hut. Above that there was so much snow it was impossible to tell where any path or burn was.pwbellarby12/02/1994
