Superb setting, superb dayalda03/04/2021
First Coronavirus self-isolating day so decided to go up the most remote hill I could find near(ish) to home. Didn't count on the ongoing hydro works and workers that have essentially made much of the cycle route a building site, but anyway, parked at the hydro scheme car park and took the track along Loch Etive and into Glen Kinglass - made a bit quicker by a new track south of the river. Took 1hr 15 mins to cycle to Allt Hallater on my new e-bike, from where the walk began. A series of heather, snow and rocky false tops along the east flank of Beinn nan Lus eventually end in a well cairned summit, then its a straightforward scamper around its west and north tops before descending to Bealach Cumhann then alongside the Allt Hallater back to the bike. Great day out, great weather, great isolation opportunity. Perhaps best done at weekend to avoid hydro traffic.summitter20/03/2020
Traverse of Beinn nan Lus, superb weather, no wind, blue skies and stunning views. Slow going over all the bumps in 15cm of soft snow.RichardM27/02/2016
