Parking area in farmyard at NO 062628. Track to NO 0592 6263. WM at NO 0595 6209. Up hill from NO 0566 6228. OK until windthrow starts at NO 053620 - both via S and via N equally difficult, with brash on summitcarole engel16/10/2022
Started from Kindrogan Bridge and started off up the track at the two cottages. Followed signs for the hill until a Waymarker pointed us up a grassy track through the trees at NO05655 62289 where it came to its end among brash NO04926 620204. Then it was over the wall and up and over and around trees to reach a nice rocky heathery top at .460 then a path of sorts headed to the beautiful heathery topped trig pillar. From here we just headed E through the brash and back down to the main track which we returned on back to the car. None of the footpaths heading to the summit on the maps are there anymore. The main tracks are, just not the dotted line pathsWayne Mac14/08/2022
Near the summit several trees blocking exit from the wood onto open hillside.hill walker09/07/2022
As Norman W. Continued on via the forest to the subtump. Cnoc an Duin for its first log.Adrian12/06/2022
Kindrogan Forest is being clearfelled in large chunks. Followed line of path from NO058626 to summit - most of this is now an extraction track so not very aesthetic but gets you there. Then a good clear track heads into the trees southwest of the summit and leads to the forest road at NO043616 - this is currently behind some logs so not very obvious but look for a gap in the wall.daviemore05/03/2021
Parked at recycling area at Enochdhu. Wide path from 0565 6229 leads to within 500m of the top. Over the wall, a couple of fallen trees, some brash where felling has occurred then heather to top and trig.NormanW04/01/2021
Trails are overgrown and/or logged/clear-felled,it becomes a wild scramble over fallen trees and soft turned earth.NHumes 16/05/2020

from enochdhu, track and faint path up through waymarked clearing, then faint path at hp of a wall to the top.robertphillips14/09/2019
Here for the trigpoint TP:UK log: Approached from Enochdhu (parking at NO 06155 62510), walked towards field centre where I probably could have parked, past a left hand turn (NO 05865 62627 - which shows as a small path on map but is now a large vehicle track which had many lorries coming down it full of ballast) and a sign pointing straight on for the hill. Just at the field centre the other left hand track had a red and white strippy strip across it and a stop don’t proceed forestry operations (NO 05448 62830) - this was the only other route I had planned so decided to ignore the signage. After a short while I ended up on a main forest track (Cemetery as mentioned by GerryU2 NO 05475 62519) where a guy in a digger was making more track, he stopped and let me pass him not making any comment, so I presumed the track was ok past him. Well long story short none of the paths on my map are obvious. Up we ended up in the heart of the forestry operations which was hard work, once at trithejackrustles08/03/2019
Up from the road to the south, a ride amongst young trees goes most of the way. Thin covering of snow. Typical dreich weather for this loathsome month.fasgadh01/12/2018
From the North. Used track alongside wall and fence, blocked at edge of forest by windthrown trees. Not as bad an experience as alda's!richtea504001/11/2018
From a good CP in Enochdubh - over river, then forest roads & a pretty good track almost to summit (there are waymarks). Views restricted in some directions, by trees.ger03/09/2017
Solo. Visited on a walk around the forest.meltdiceburg28/05/2017
To follow up from the previous review - the route from Enochdu is not too bad. There is a very rough path from NO058625 to the track at NO055624, however do not attempt to contiinue up the path shown on the OS map, it reaches fallen trees and is impossible. Instead, tun left along the track for about 300m and you'll see a clearing/tree break on your right - there's also a marker post but the arrow is not obvious. Follow that clearing straight up and you'll eventually reach the summit clearing and the trig. At the summit do NOT attempt to follow the path which appears to head in a NW direction. We did, and spent the next hour fighting our way through fallen trees to eventually pop out at the track at NO046628. We won't be coming back.jimwillsher04/07/2016
Awful. Path alongside wall from NW is now an unwalkable grey sludgy strip through stumps, logs and debris. Lots of fallen trees at edge of remaining forest. Better going within the trees, up path alongside fence, ok open summit area. Tried to find an exit route to track due north but blocked by lots of fallen trees so had to retrace steps. It may be easier from Enochdhu.alda30/06/2016
Path up from Enochdhu in poor state with lots of windthrown trees blocking the way.PeteF07/04/2013
