Good parking area to WNW on track to Ordgarff (NJ 2625 0834). Tom a' Gharraidh first, then on to here on a good track. On to Camock Hill, Carn Leac S and return for a 10.7km round. | jonglew | 25/11/2023 |
6th of 6 Simms on a linear walk from Shenval to Corgarff. Then on to Tom a Gharraidh and cycle back from Corgarff Castle to my car at Shenval. | NormanW | 01/10/2023 |
Parked at the start of the track to Ordgarff. There is a sign here saying it is public path from Fort George to Coupar Angus, that be quite a walk. This was much easier. Lots of dead things at the top... wondered for a moment why, then saw the rifle rest and cartridges, at least use what you kill..... | hils | 22/04/2023 |

A 9 top round from near ordgarff left bike at shenaval for the return back along the road/track. tom a gharraidh, carn mor, carn leac saighdeir, camock hill, the Ca, carn a bhacain, fox cairn, carn a bhacain NE top, hill of tornahaish. | robertphillips | 17/07/2022 |
Straightforward walk up from near Corgarf mainly on good track. Could have easily biked fist bit but windy and had plenty of time. Then north for Scaut Hill mainly on the newish windfarm track. Very windy and rain so walked it all rather than use bike. Most of final section also on a lesser track so all easy going. | dickscroop | 27/05/2022 |
On one of Cairngorm Club Midweek Walks. From a parking area at NJ262083 near Ordgarff. A circuit to Carn Leac Saighdeir via Càrn Meadhonach, returning on the old military road. Tracks all the way. Some of us went up and down the south ridge of Càrn Mòr. | pwbellarby | 28/04/2022 |

From Brown Cow Hill East Top, headed NE down to Alltan Sleibh then up and into Clais nan Cat before taking old road over Carn Meadhonach then following fence to summit. | 187lenny | 21/03/2021 |
A very pleasant circular walk past Ordgarff; note that there is a forestry car park a little way along the track, better than the road end. Track through the forest to join the N ridge of Carn Mor, easy going on an ATV track, then deer tracks; fine views all round. Down the S ridge on easy short heather but watch out for tree stumps and holes close to the track. Up the track to Carn Leac Saighdeir, lovely summit, a sheet of granite with square boulders perfectly positioned as back rests to loaf in the sun enjoying the view. This was a walk on home territory, not a bagging trip, so down the NE track to join the military road, a pleasant return with fine views and interesting bridges. | Gill | 09/08/2020 |
Up from Ordgarff, parked bike on track below summit and then an easy walk up low heather to the big cairn. Mapped wood now a very productive blaeberry patch. | fasgadh | 25/07/2020 |
From Cock Bridge, #2 of 3, then W for Oighreag track, mapped trees long gone. | RHW | 26/12/2019 |
