Fantastic circuit of the Saddle from Shiel Bridge - Allt Undalain, Loch Coire nan Crogachan, then the long and very undulating north ridge of the Saddle taking in all the summits, count our below Sgurr nan Forcan then descended thenA Mhuing ridge. Superb walking in very cold, windy conditions , but superb visibility and views. 21km 7h 30Rockdoctor08/03/2024
Parked between the chocolate shop and the campsite, followed track to the wall just before the bridge over the Allt Undalain. Up by the wall (rough) to the ridge where the going got a bit easier particularly after we picked up a path of sorts. Ups and downs to A'Mhuing and on to Biod an Fhithich - nice with great views to the Five Sisters, Glen Shiel and The Saddle. Back the same way but views to Bharraich, Loch Duich and Airgid this time. Came down to the right of the 193m top - also rough.StueyB29/12/2023

f.a, 7 in group, windy, rain , sleet, snow, generally grim, 7.3 miles, climbed from glen Shiel lodge, rain from the start, path to gleann undalain then uphill to gain the ridge, lots of rises and tops along the ridge, some with steep ground, sleet turning to snow just before the summit, then easily down to the bealach na craoibhe and down to coire caol and back along a saturated glen to the lodgerum doodle 18/02/2019

With Steve Smith. From the A87 (parking at NG 9676 1444). Good track up to Biod an Fhithich and its N top, then on to here. Then dropping back to the roadside memorial to Donald Campbell. 533m spot height may be the HP, but nearby second 530m contour poss higher.jonglew25/10/2017
Had a mega long 14 hour, leg knackering, day on clockwise up Graham then The Saddle which finally re-completed my Munro status on the correct summit. Glorious but very hard work, especially on the tricky Forcan ridgevegibagger14/06/2015

An armchair bag, but I remember it. My notes contemporary with the walk mention all the knolls and endless ups and downs on this ridge that looked so enticing a way back to Shiel Bridge on the map.pwheeler20/05/1984
