Parked tidily in the splay for the widnfarm at NH40110901. Followed windfarm road for several km to hairpin bend at NH43500484. At this point an initially indistinct ATV track leaves the windfarm road on the south east side of the burn. A little further on it starts to climb alongside the burn and becomes a much better stalkers type path. This peters out in the flat area near the burn around NH42930425. It is then possible to follow the ATV track alongside the burn, often bog hopping, to approx. NH42640393. At this point the ATV track takes an unhelpful turn and it is better to strike cross country. Passing north of the lochan at NH42280375 and through the gap between lochans at NH42150363. From this point take your pick of rising traverses to the summit marked by a large cairn. I chose to cross the open country on return to visit the Glendoe Eagle sculpture at NH44670395, before picking up the nearby windfarm road for the long walk back to the public road.geralddavison20/03/2024
showers. Bike and run . Visited the Glen Doe Eagle, stunning piece of art.TamCollie02/07/2023
With Malky on grey day, with very cold wind gusting to c50mph on summit. From minor road to N, starting up new tourist path, then windfarm road. After summit, headed W to Glendoe dam, then down Sron Garbh to feature of interest, along Glen Tarff, then back up a few hundred metres to new road W of summit, and back to start. Was V tired after previous day and this one broke me! Rounsfell09/04/2023
Solo from the B862 - cut off before bridge over Allt Doe and made my way over the semi-frozen bog up in a direct line up to the summit. Returned via Coire an t-Seilich down to the track and then back down the track to the B862. Dry weather but very cold. Total time 3h 54min.mproudfoot04/12/2022
From B862 at entrance to windfarm roads (NH401090), cycled/pushed along track to bridge at NH415063, S on foottrack following stream then SSE up slopes to ridge N of Càrn a' Chuilinn, and S to summit, returned along ridge NE to N Top, then NW down to stream, back to bridge, cycled/free-wheeled to start (4h10m [3h5m from bridge])kdbennett18/09/2022
Up the Glen Doe wind farm road, via the East & North Tops. Solo.Dangerous Dave11/08/2022
Parked in wide entrance/layby of windfarm NN 401090. Biked to track junction (NN 4158 -637). Short stretch good tarmac then lumpy tarmac - not too much gravel and gradients mostly gentle. Reasonable biking but hard on the nether regions. After Corbett continued on SE ridge (4 Sims) - easy, pleasant walkingcarole engel10/08/2022
B862, large layby bouldered shut. Small space about 400m on left further east. Biked to hairpin, ascended NW side of burn, trackless but firm, over 781 point. Returned to SE side of burn, slightly muddy but ok atv track down.iangalbraith05/08/2022

MTB from Loch Tarff via Stonelairg wind farm track. Abandoned bike at large track bend and walked to summit with DH and JD. On way to Meal na h-Aisre.John Lee15/06/2021
Glen Doe hydro track, nipping up to the two wee tops of Carn na Saobhaidhe, Fuaran Doire Cluig, Carn Doire Chaorach and Cnoc Chleamants, before an assault on the west face of Carn a' Chuilinn. An interesting tapestry of lochan and rocky outcrop became visible from the summit, so we chose to bag its most northerly humps n bumps. The North Top, East Top and Far East Top were swiftly summited before the relative drudgery of the hydro track back home was rejoined. 5.15 hrs.summitter06/06/2021
Solo fr B862 at NH401090, running. Long track to 435048 then largely-pathless moor rising to tops, boggy in places. Overcast w hints of distant showers, though dry for me, became brighter and warmer as I descended over quite steep, uneven ground NW to pick up LRT at 407042 for long warm run back to car and pleasant drive up minor rds to Inverness and same delightful 1st floor apt as I'd used earlier this month.NorfolkPT2123/08/2020

From cattle grid, across to windfarm track then what I thought was a poor stalkers path in wet conditions, into cloud, took a heading east of the summit to ridge and followed this to Carn a' Chuilinn. After this some tricky navigation (and a cock-up) and deep soft snow to the south top and more tricky navigation to Creag an Fhir-eoin. From there with time pressing headed NEish back to track passing between the two E tops of main summit that I had intended to do. Snow conditions also not helpful and all in cloud.dickscroop03/01/2018

With Mora - Glen Doe route.BLACKHILL12/05/2017
From Coire Doe, starting in thick fog. This cleared a bit as I went up the hill. The hydro track is ugly but the surroundings are really nice. The stalkers path is good, and then deer tracks continue. The route up the river looks peculiar in the mist, seeming to go away from the hill, but works really well. The summit is a great place, very unusual with the view down to the lochans on the shelf below the top.Gill11/06/2016

Parked in layby on B862. Followed Glen Doe Hydro track to bridge over Allt Doe taking track/path to the right just before bridge. Followed burn Southwards before crossing & continuing SSW to climb onto summit ridge. Followed ridge SW to summit cairn. Return as outward. On own.MorecambeMonkey23/03/2015
Wind farm access road then up snowy slopes to plateau. Returned by same route. Strong wind and squally snow showers at times.benalder28401/03/2015
Parked on the B 862 where the track goes onto the power station. I took the mountain bike along the track until it was possible to head straight up the hill. This must have been a lonely and remote hill until the 'powers to be' decided to rape the area and strip it of all dignity. It look very likely that now they will be installing wind turbines, do they never learn? in the meantime the summit is still proud of its isolation and i stood next to the cairn with the wind blowing in my face and thoughts of what has been and what is to come. The future is looking bleak for much of Scotland's wild country.thenomad11/11/2014
