Parking at FC CP NH390107. The good FP ends quickly, then it is hell. Above the trees, R, at view pt with rocks, a faint ATV tk starts N, but veers R into swamp. An An Tk is visible R of a nose at NH388124, but is purgatorial to reach. Intermittent An Tx and ATV Tx up to R of knoll at NH380134 and end in col at NH375136. Had climbed Burach before so SW to Carn nan Dubh Lochan. Easiest ground over its tops then to Loch a’Bhealaich and Carn Dubh. Horrendous pathless descent riddled with hidden deep holes, on bearing back for rocks view pt. BUT crossed to the E side of the Allt na Criche above the dilapidated forest fence, as it gorges AND the last 500m back to the HL GGW path was snail pace purgatorial groin deep veg | Isbjorn | 02/10/2023 |

Great path from Allt na Criche car park, on to the open hill.
