Did this and Carn Dubh from the Trees for Life centre at Dundreggan and only found the most sensible way up on the way down! From car park walk behind the visitor centre and through a gate, take the next right and keep on the Purple (Heather) route which quickly goes from a well made path to a rough track. Follow this up the hill until you cross a wall (the path is by now an ATV) and take the ATV fork uphill at NH322155. Gets much wetter beyond here and takes you to an unlocked gate at NH318859 which is necessary if you have a dog or don't like climbing deer fences. This takes you into another planted area and the ATV helps for a short distance but you soon have to bear right round the base of Carnis Beg across very rough going to another unlocked gate at NH314165 which gets you through the upper deer fence and onto the open moor. Easy round of the two H5s from here with nice views west.StueyB04/10/2023
Parking at mast (NH308132). Tk past mast then R on new tk, over bridge and up to join old tk from Dundreggan. Long drag up to high point above Loch na Beinne Baine. Carn nan Earb from 2nd pylon. From NH290174 intermittent FPs TR to bealach at NH307176 for Carn Dubh. Down R to Carnis Mhor. Bee line for the low part of the up track at NH294158 but deer fence which had to be climbed, then hazardous terrain with planting divots, so down to gate at about NH304163 and onto a 3m wide ATV tk. Asked Dundreggan VC if they could install a stile and a marked route through their rewilding area to gateIsbjorn03/10/2023
