From small Strathy Viewpoint car park, as per LizH. Newly planted trees will make walk across moorland after grassy track more difficult in several years time. Decent views. | willyross | 05/03/2020 |

Parked in the small Strathy Viewpoint car park, at the inshot near Knocknashalavaig on the A831.
Followed the grassy winding track up onto the side of the hill. Left the track at around the 200m contour line, and headed over heather/moss/rock to the summit. | LizH | 19/05/2019 |
Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log:

Looked for parking as suggested by BigJ but couldn't spot it, road very snowy and slippy so I then nearly got stuck turning round. I then decided to try the golf course and got stuck in the car park, luckily the 'owner' spotted me and came to assist. He not only parked my car in a place so I could get out later but he got me unstuck, gave me permission to park and checked I was back safe later. Once parked followed tracks to NH 44618 41963 described by BigJ as the terminal hammerhead, then headed along a sort of rutted track to the forest edge and onwards to the trigpoint. We then found someone else's tracks through the snow (person and dog) and followed them almost all the way to the trigpoint, well at least to the base of the crag. Then found our way around the side of the crag, going to the right and round and up to the trigpoint. Very windy on top but lovely views. Then got the shelter out below the trigpoint for lunch where it started snowing | thejackrustles | 01/02/2019 |
