From Dalrigh. Up track to Cononish. Direct ascent of Beinn Dubhchraig, then Ben Oss, Ben Lui and out to Beinn a' Chleibh. Followed the path down to the forest, and contoured back around Ben Lui and down the valley before picking up the track back. Clear on Dubhchraig but cloud dropped onto the tops after that. Solo. | meltdiceburg | 22/08/2022 |
OMC Day Meet: Parked at Glen Lochy forestry car park, took wellies for the burn crossing, stashed them in the bushes. 13 folk there, the group quickly split in two based on speed and intentions, as half the group wanted to do the four munros, my slower group were happy with Beinn a' Chleibh and Ben Lui.
We went up Beinn a' Chleibh first, intermittent views as the mist cleared and then was backfilled. My right knee was painful descending back to the saddle, despite a support band. Once a top Ben Lui, there was discussion about which top was higher (south one) we did both though.
Descent was worse due to knee, followed stone path below the track, which we missed on the ascent, 07:30hrs all in. | chillyman8 | 21/08/2022 |

From Glen Lochy car park on A85, through forest than up on to NW ridge, Ben Lui, across to Beinn a'Chleibh, back to bealach, and return through Fionn Choirein and the forest. Path finding in forest not easy - areas of forest operations, new roads and fences not on the maps. Crossing the river Lochy currently very easy - some of the forest paths are wetter. | kdbennett | 07/05/2017 |

Ben Lui excursion. | justin999 | 12/08/2015 |
Big walk from camp sit in tyndrum. I ended up walking to Dalrigh as I could not cross the track at Tyndrum due to Network Rail enough said. In the coire gaothach I went to far south so ended up cutting across the snows of central gully and then up to a point just west of stone garbh. The North East ridge was easy but fun. I visited both summits, I then went over to Beinn a chleibh and returned to col with Ben Lui I then contoured round to the col with Ben oss. The North East ridge of Oss was fun as I glossed down the snow patches. It was then over the subsidiary top and up Beinn dubhchraig. I reversed to the loch and and went down the path to the north of the allt coire dubhchraig. Lower down this was boggy towards the bottom I turned south crossed the river cononish and picked up the outward path near the bridge under the railway. I returned on the West Highland Way to Tyndrum. I walked 17.5 miles in 9.25 hours with 1830 metres of ascent. | isabelle | 15/06/2015 |
