from Maiden. Downhill for a mile and a half and contoured over wet places to col at 750m. Faint path uphill to ridge. Series of pinnacles were a nasty surprise. to Tarsuinn.arranc26/05/1992
With: sj da aac; From A'Mhaighdean via NW ridge. Stopped on summit then up Meall Garbh & bivvied at col before Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair. Sian & I had forgotten our plastic bivi bag so in night when it started to rain we descended via Gleann na Muice.Ian Baines13/07/1987
Cairngorm Club overnight meet. After ascending Beinn a Chlaidheimh, Sgurr Ban, Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair, and Meall Garbh with other club members I continued alone to Beinn Tarsuinn, and the west ridge of Beinn Tarsuinn*. I continued to Ruadh Stac Mor and A Mhaighdean (very fine views here out to the Outer Hebrides and Skye). By the N shore of Loch an Fada and Heights of Kinlochewe to reach Kinlochewe Hotel at 13:45 where lunch had been arranged. There was no rain on the whole walk. There was mist on the tops of Beinn a Chlaidheimh and Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair; otherwise it was clear. * Subsequently found to have the name Suidheachan Fhinn.pwbellarby28/06/1981
