On ascent of nearby Corbett, an enforced detour because of a difficult burn crossing.Aye Jimmy31/05/2001

I have a problem with looking through my notes from the past with these lesser hills. I went from Meallan Buidhe to Beinn Liath Mhor a' Ghiubhais Li. In those days this hill was just an unnamed minor rise on the ridge between the two hills. Looking at the map, I went through the contour ring containing the highest point but probably a bit to its north. Even today (12/11/2021) there isn't an accurate OSGR for the highest point. However, I would have gone close to it. The problem is how close is close enough. I have decided that with all cases where I would have gone through the highest contour ring I will record it as climbed.Alan Moore30/03/1991
