Second climb with EKMC. Had intended to walk Glen Loin but decided to go on the group walk. Climbed via the Cobbler path from Arrochar. 10.5 miles | FionaC | 27/08/2023 |
Beinn Narnain and Beinn Ìme. Walkhighlands route. Misty start but turned into a beautiful afternoon.Hot, sweaty walking. | Lazylizzie | 05/06/2023 |
Parked at Succoth car park (£1/hour cash/card).Took path up SE ridge, very dry underfoot, to Cruach nam Miseag and Beinn Narnain. Whilst the cloud base was rising, it didn't rise fast enough for us to have any views from about 800m. It did clear as we were dropping to Bealach a Mhaim and we debated whether to climb back up... The path down is a constructed one further S than shown on the map, coming out near the Cobbler path junction. Good views and very hot from Beinn Ime but beginning to cloud again on the way up the Cobbler and North Peak. Descent via main path to the ESE back to the car park. With Gillian. | richard69 | 01/06/2023 |
9.6 mile out-and-back from Arrochar. The path takes a bit too long to exit the forest but once it does the scenery is spectacular. Up to the bealach between The Cobbler and Beinn Narnain, then up well-defined path to summit. The views were amazing today. Not a cloud in the sky over the Highlands. The wind was gusting to about 45mph on top so we crawled up to the cairn. We returned the same way. Quite a few people about enjoying the weather. 1103m ascent. | DanTrig | 19/04/2023 |
Beinn Ime & Beinn Luibhean from Butterbridge. Much shorter route than from Arrochar, not technically challenging but relentlessly steep both up and down. | TRG318 | 28/09/2022 |
