TGOC 2018. Ascended all 3 west Glen Roy hills en route to Luib Chonnal bothyalexmaclennan14/05/2018
An easy path leads from the Glen Roy viewpoint to the summit plateau of Beinn a' Mhonicag. Superb views. Leana Mhor is so close that it's impossible to do anything other than continue on down the NW ridge. This requires a bit of weaving around to dodge steep ground and a turn north near the bottom to hit the bealach. The climb to Leana Mhor is as easy as it looks, on smooth grass, and then lovely short heather towards the top. On return (easy) cut across the lower slopes of Beinn a' Mhonicag to avoid road bashing and take a peek at a parallel road.Gill12/05/2018

MC. On route home from AT. 1 hour round trip from the viewpoint car park. Easy if steep ascent. If you trend rightwards where the obvious clipped grass runs out, you will find a path that runs all the way to the top. Otherwise, do what I did and work your way up through spongy heather and moss! Good views to Nevis range. Evidence of people using hill for Easter Egg rolling!Martin6614/04/2016

Overcast, slightly windy, mild, good views.iangalbraith09/09/2009
Solo. From the viewpoint car park in Glen Roy. After a wet morning spent in Fort William. Ascended to the summit of Beinn a' Mhonicag going up slightly to the south and coming straight down. There are bits of paths. There are too quite nicely built up cairns about 100m apart and it is difficult to say which is the higher point. I visited both. It was wet and very misty.pwbellarby25/05/2009
