Cùl Beag and Cùl Mòr. What a day to be in the mountains! | quadbarrel | 18/10/2022 |
With J during a week in Sutherland. Parked in the visitor car park at Knockan Crag (where there is now an EV charging point) on a bright day with rain forecast for later. Used the stalkers' path & then followed line of cairns to Meallan Diomhain. Stayed patient & headed NNW for the lochan where a decent path leads round to the final rocky ascent to Cul Mor. Picked out the peaks while a raven flew around looking for lunch, then continued to Creag nan Calman and then worked way back round to Meallan Diomhain & the outward route. | NotReallyABagger | 17/05/2022 |

From Creag nan Calman via coire. Easy snowslopes higher up but very steep and icy before reaching the bottom. Glad i had my crampons thats for sure. A fine place to look back and reflect on what youve just done. | stig_nest | 19/03/2018 |
Walked up from Knockan Crag carpark with Eilidh. Very good path up. Tried to make summit of Cul Mor but too windy & boulder-strewn. | stever | 26/07/2017 |

I drove up to Elphin and booked B&B. Solo. From Knockan Cliff, walking along stalkers’ path and then up eastern slopes of Meallan Diomhain. I ascended NE ridge of Cul Mòr to reach summit. Descended by outward route. The weather was very good – far better than the forecast had suggested. | pwbellarby | 28/06/1997 |
