Parked at the B8043 CP marked with a Blue Footprint above a Hydro Power Station. A couple of hundred metres NW is a muddy path from the road to the Power Station below and the bridge over the river. A road leads all the way to a smaller hydro-turbine building at the bottom of Allt na Carriage, from where a track leads up the glen alongside the burn. Once at the end of the track it is a straightforward ascent onto the NE flank of Sgurr a' Bhuic, where it and its NE Top give fab views over Loch Linnhe. We also visited all the likely high pints of its W Top, but it seems that the top of the hill has been hacked off by the quarry workers. A wander along the highest quarry road aids access if not aesthetics to Beul Choire nan Each. Beinn Mheadhoin was next, followed by Meall na Greine. Bit of a detour to Meall a' Chaorainn Loch Uisge, and then a contouring exercise to finish with Sgurr Shalachain. Its ENE flank provides a relatively easy descent route, eventually onto a track back down to tsummitter26/02/2023

After Greine. Enjoyable ridge walk with views over Kingairloch and Appin. Descent by looping gently around Coire Shalachain and picking up new tyre tracks. Very wet and rough, a better descent than ascent Glad I did Meall a' Chaorainn first.fasgadh14/07/2022
Parked at Loch Uisge for a circuit of 2 Highland Fives and 2 Simms. 4/4PGCE15/05/2022
