Over the intervening tops from Cruach Neuran and down via the lochan to catch the atv track down to the forest road. | ARM | 23/09/2023 |
Parked at west dam and followed forestry track and ATV track as described by others. Cruach Neuran then Cruach nan Caorach, and short diversion to Cnoc Madaidh on return. | RobertP | 17/05/2023 |
Cnoc Madaidh-Cruach nan Caorach-Cruach Neuran (rpt)-Cruach nan Capull (rpt)-562m trig-Finnart Point-road to Toward Quay. | campagvelocet | 02/06/2022 |
From track SW of western dam, past Cnoc Madaidh, then left up a steep ATV track which takes you through the trees and pretty high up the hill. On to Cruach Neuran. | sclater | 08/12/2021 |
From NS068829 (about 300m W of dam car park) where a pull-in has a ‘hammerhead’ of two forest roads. L branch climbs steadily up to just SE of point 311. Muddy track laying vehicle track starts steeply up NE, fading in and out to shoulder at about NS073819 where it vanishes in tough heather. Take GPS reading because this shoulder is your key point in descent and terrain features are unremarkable in descent as the ATV track cannot be relied upon as a handrail when it vanishes. Very arduous vegetation and multiple false tops to Cruach Neuran. Back to Cruach nan Caorach from where gravity assist eases the terrain down via the tiny lochan and back to the hard-to-locate ATV track end. | Isbjorn | 17/10/2020 |

En route to Cruach Neuran via track from W dam. | Chris Peart | 26/03/2019 |
Forest track from the road to it's end at NS 0664 8121, then a left turn and very steeply up through conifer plantation. | jonglew | 13/11/2017 |
Came this way from Cruach Neuran with hope (in vain) that I might find a way that did not involve pinetree thrashing. Please do not snitch on me that I have done a Hawaii 5-0. Dont want to be arrested under the 2001 Hill List Encroachment (Scotland) Act. | Martin R | 09/04/2012 |
