Parking area along the B972 Pass of Ballater. Walked along this eastwards to the A93 turning off A93 up FP through Braehead of Tullich. A lovely woodland walk until E of Cranach Hill, then a less pleasant heather bash to the summit. Once back on the FP we continued northwards until reaching an Estate road. W to the Lary Burn, which was a boot, sock and gaiter off job in order to cross, then up more heather to Lary Hill. Back to the burn, where we found a helpful footbridge from which a stone track leads up to Peter's Hill and its W Top. Finally it goes on to Creagan Riabhach then more tracked descent back down to the B972. 5.45hrs. | summitter | 17/11/2023 |
