Beautiful calm clear end of day ascent - dark shapes of hills against an orange and turquoise twilight sky to the west with a glowing full moon already up to the east -after an afternoon exploring frosty woods with pupils, and seeing exquisite frost feathers(formed from sap) on fallen branches. Friendly sign by gate outlining Scottish Access rights and warning to be sensible and not touch any of the obstacles in the woods. The trig has been freshly whitewashed and can be seen from the road below to the east.Chris Pearson09/01/2020
