Am Bathaich, Sgurr a'Mhaoraich Beag, Sgurr a'Mhaorich from Loch Quoich bridge.Geoff Briggs21/10/2022
Circuit of Sgurr a' Mhaoraich and tops. Sgurr Coire nan Eiricheallach, Sgurr a' Mhaoraich, steep drop and then very steep climb to Am Bathaich. Continued to Sgurr Thionail and descended E ridge to Glen Quoich. Intermittent sunshine and showers with some excellent views down Loch Hourn and to the S Glen Shiel ridge.RobertP30/05/2022
This website lists 95 deleted Munro Tops, and Am Bathaich is the only one below 900 metres. The 1953 tables claimed a height of 3055 feet, that's 931 metres.Pete R30/08/2021

Solo. Low cloud with both continual drizzle and wind. Soaked. Views to either side of the ridge from the Bealach. Decided to continue over Am Bathaich but did not go onto the subsidiary tops of Sgurr Thionail or Sgurr a' Mhaoraich Beagalexmaclennan30/06/2012

Getting across from Sgurr a'Mhaoraich Beag entailed a rather tricky descent to the col before a short climb to the summit. yorkie09/05/2007

fine hill & view. circuit acw from Coiresubh RHW01/08/2004
Parked at the roadside to NW of Loch Coire Shubh. I climbed up to Sgùrr a’ Mhaoraich Beag, surprised to find there was a path for most of the way. Continued to the summit of Sgùrr a’ Mhaoraich. I went northwards over quite complex terrain. It was a bit misty. Reached the Corbett top of Sgùrr Thionail. Returned southwards for a bit and then crossed a corrie floor and climbed up to the 892m top of Am-Bàthaich. This top, which is the only top of Am-Bàthaich to have a height marked on the OS 1:50,000 map, is not the highest point of Am-Bàthaich. This is further along the summit ridge in a direction WSW. I followed the ridge to the highest point. I could see clearly that this was the highest point. I continued to the col between Sgùrr a’ Mhaoraich and Sgùrr a’ Mhaoraich Beag and eventually found my ascent route and followed it back to the car.pwbellarby09/08/2003

circuit from about a mile from Kinlochourn up west ridge of the still alight, smouldering and smoking slopes of Sgurr a' Mhaorich 1027m. It was burning downhill. Head north to Am Bathaich 899m and regret having not brought my crampons and axe as northern slopes have patches of steep and hard snow. Great views across to Buidhe Bheinn which I'd hoped to include in a horseshoe. Up to Thionail and heading steeply down realise I've neither the time nor the energy for Buidhe Bheinn today. Little did I know it's ascent would be 17 years away.vegibagger06/04/1996
