Climbed from the road in the snow. Easy going hill, incredible viewpoint.Matt290105/12/2020

Camped at Cluanie and did the ridge from Creag a Mhaim but continued to Sgurr na Sgine (ascending straight up the face) and dropped down to Glen Shiel via Faochaog. Had left bike at the road, but still tried to hitch. Gave up and cycled back to Cluanie as midges were biting.jigglybones29/05/2019

Circuit of Bhuidhe Bheinn and Sgurr a' Bhac Chaolais from just N of Coireshubh. Set off along good path running high above Kinloch Hourn on a day with forecast heavy rain and thunderstorms (it turned out just a couple of showers and drizzle). Climbed roughly NNW (very steep) to reach Buidhe Bheinn West Top, then nice traverse to the Corbett, a couple of tops then Sgurr a' Bhac Chaolais, descent to Bealach Duibh Leac via Sgurr a'Bhac Chaolais East Top. Traverse to join path running back to start, camping close to a knoll in still midgy conditions.RobertP27/05/2017
Glen Shiel - Bealach Dubh Leac - Sgurr a'Bhac Chaloais - Buidhe Bheinn and return. Significant snow cover and mist together with significant ascent and re-ascents made this a challenging mid-winter route.benalder28411/02/2017
Glen Shiel- Bealach Dubh Leac- Sgurr a'Bhac Chaolais- Sgurr na Sgine- Faochaig- Glen Shiel. A good mountain walk, filling in that gap in my S. Kintail ridge summits. This section seemed to need more route-finding than elsewhere, especially between the main summits; I tried to flank rough ground on the descent of Sgurr a'Bhac Chaolais to the S but only succeeded in flanking the steepest section. Up by a wall to gain the SW ridge of Sgurr na Sgine worked out very well. The descent via Faochaig seemed very eroded compared with a delightful ascent that way in 1989. Fine weather, cloud well above summits, distance views.pwheeler23/06/2016

two days after my final Munro and the exciting day of finally surveying Sa'BCh and Buidhe Bheinn, having been championing BB since various letters to OS in 95/96 about its height and eventually getting out of them that new Metric data was available but not yet on the map and that it was 885m. also included going over all the various tops including the SW top. The result was a great triumph to have BB reinstated as the Corbett and Marilynvegibagger05/09/2012

Path from the road. In mist until reached the top - then great views all round. Bit of snow around to make things interesting. Odd that Chris thinks it is a Munro, he is usually a stickler for detail - unless I have misread what he meamt.Martin R10/02/2012

self. This was the designated Corbett when doing the list.davidsbatty22/11/2010
A long pull up from Glen Shiel to summit. Then a fierce drop down fence line/cliff to Sgurr na Sgine col and then very steep climb up slippery grass and rock to summit of the Munro. This is not the recommended route - but others have made this mistake.chriswatson01/08/2010

Climbed at the start of a long day including the western end of the South Cluanie Ridge. Didn't help when I went over an ankle!gman04/04/2010
From Coe road, up end of ridge track and onto first corbett. Good winter snows, stiff progress along ridge between summits. Back by reverse route.nordicstar04/04/2010

MC JC MH HH. Climbed with Buidhe Bheinn. From L. Quoich to a camp at a lochan near the head of the Allt Coire Sgoireadail. Nice evening turned into mist and low cloud. Ascended Buidhe Bheinn first along a nice ridge - narrow with a few scrambles. Returned along to Sgurr a Bhac Chaolais in deteriorating weather. Tore a ligament on descent. Beautiful evening lower down.Martin6627/03/2005
NB (MO), DR (SnS), MB. Glen Shiel to Forcan Ridge, The Saddle, Sgurr na Sgine, Sgurr a'Bhac Chaolais, Bealach Duibh Leac & Glen Shiel. Fine day with sunny periods.Vin20/03/2005
With Smithy from Glen Shiel. Followed path up to Bealach Duibh Leac & then up to top of Sgurr a'Bhac Chaolais. Continued round fine ridge to twin summit of Buidhe Bheinn which was worth it for the walk never mind the fact that the Corbett was reassigned sometime later! Back to Sgurr a'Bhac Chaolais & then on to Sgurr na Sgine & The Saddle by which point the Cluanie Curtain had descended. Dropped into the glen & back to the start.NotReallyABagger01/09/2003

From Glen Shiel; with Slim Jim, S and the F.C.The Captain03/08/2002
From Glen Shiel, bit boggy at start otherwise straightforward ascent. In Nov 2012 this hill lost its Corbett status to Buidhe Bheinn further along the ridge - found to be 0.3m or 1' higher and which I haven't done - ruining my Corbett completions. Annoying when they keep moving the goalposts!Aye Jimmy01/04/2002

Last peak of a very long winter day along South Cluanie ridge (after a bivi on eastern end).On my own now pushing into darkness after Mark had descended -then a nasty dark icy descent by headtorch down lethal path to road - sheet water ice -took crampons off too soon and fell and twisted ankle-broke torch -hobble down through safer heather in dark to road-flagged a car down in dark to send a message to Mark at Cluanie to come and pick me up. (Very long wait as he had just ordered a meal)Chris Pearson28/12/1989

At time of ascent first Corbett. Completed round 1999 before twin summit became apparent. Summit demoted after my round completed 1999, and Buidhe Bheinn climbed later after all changes were ratified.N.Morters16/05/1987
With two friends. After staying at Glen Brittle YH. Conditions of strong wind and mist made us decide against anything in Cuillins. On mainland there was rain so coffee was had at Robin's nest, Dornie. From NG970140 on the path beside Allt Mhàlagain, keeping to west side. Then we followed Allt Coire Toiteil. Reached the NW top of Sgurr na Sgine and the main top. Went down the NE ridge - steep - much vegetation. We reached Sgurr a' Bhac Chaolais. We went down to Bealach Duibh Leac, then followed the path back to car (more a line of cairns in upper part). Wet and windy with mist on the highest parts.pwbellarby12/06/1983
