From Glen Shiel on traverse to Buidhe Bheinn | Rockdoctor | 02/05/2021 |
Climbed from the road in the snow. Easy going hill, incredible viewpoint. | Matt2901 | 05/12/2020 |

Camped at Cluanie and did the ridge from Creag a Mhaim but continued to Sgurr na Sgine (ascending straight up the face) and dropped down to Glen Shiel via Faochaog. Had left bike at the road, but still tried to hitch. Gave up and cycled back to Cluanie as midges were biting. | jigglybones | 29/05/2019 |

Circuit of Bhuidhe Bheinn and Sgurr a' Bhac Chaolais from just N of Coireshubh. Set off along good path running high above Kinloch Hourn on a day with forecast heavy rain and thunderstorms (it turned out just a couple of showers and drizzle). Climbed roughly NNW (very steep) to reach Buidhe Bheinn West Top, then nice traverse to the Corbett, a couple of tops then Sgurr a' Bhac Chaolais, descent to Bealach Duibh Leac via Sgurr a'Bhac Chaolais East Top. Traverse to join path running back to start, camping close to a knoll in still midgy conditions. | RobertP | 27/05/2017 |

Glen Shiel - Bealach Dubh Leac - Sgurr a'Bhac Chaloais - Buidhe Bheinn and return. Significant snow cover and mist together with significant ascent and re-ascents made this a challenging mid-winter route. | benalder284 | 11/02/2017 |

Glen Shiel- Bealach Dubh Leac- Sgurr a'Bhac Chaolais- Sgurr na Sgine- Faochaig- Glen Shiel. A good mountain walk, filling in that gap in my S. Kintail ridge summits. This section seemed to need more route-finding than elsewhere, especially between the main summits; I tried to flank rough ground on the descent of Sgurr a'Bhac Chaolais to the S but only succeeded in flanking the steepest section. Up by a wall to gain the SW ridge of Sgurr na Sgine worked out very well. The descent via Faochaig seemed very eroded compared with a delightful ascent that way in 1989. Fine weather, cloud well above summits, distance views. | pwheeler | 23/06/2016 |

Kinlochhourn to Shiel Bridge traverse in deepish snow | dickscroop | 04/04/2013 |
two days after my final Munro and the exciting day of finally surveying Sa'BCh and Buidhe Bheinn, having been championing BB since various letters to OS in 95/96 about its height and eventually getting out of them that new Metric data was available but not yet on the map and that it was 885m. also included going over all the various tops including the SW top. The result was a great triumph to have BB reinstated as the Corbett and Marilyn | vegibagger | 05/09/2012 |

Path from the road. In mist until reached the top - then great views all round. Bit of snow around to make things interesting. Odd that Chris thinks it is a Munro, he is usually a stickler for detail - unless I have misread what he meamt. | Martin R | 10/02/2012 |
