Dropped Hannah early at airport so started from Visitor Centre at 0630. Revisit to marilyn but added 4 further hills this time. Horrendous conditions, saw nothing, forgot phone/GPS and had a thigh deep burn crossing. Prided myself on navigation with tatty map and defective compass. | lordtonult | 01/07/2023 |
From Muirshiel Country Park, crossed concrete bridge ~300m NW of the visitors' centre. East Girt Hill, Hill of Stake, West Girt Hill and High Corby Knowe first then across to here. On to Box Law, Windyrise, Capet Law, Misty Law and return for a 17k round over rough heathery ground after Stake. One saving grace was nearly frozen ground, otherwise would have been a very boggy round. | jonglew | 07/12/2022 |
From Ladyland House - on road to Holehouse Farm, uo new hydro track to King's Burn then Black Law, Windyrise, Box Law, Slaty Law, Long Hill, High Corby Knowe, West Girt Hill, Hill of Stake, East Girt Hill and Misty Law. Down via Maich Water track. Good running on ATV tracks all the way from Box Law to Hill of Stake. | quadbarrel | 06/03/2021 |

Crossed on OMM with Darren - following the fence - useful boggy path of sorts as hoped- to help speed our bogtrotting run on a hour long leg to a 50 pointer way to the SW. Just about to rain briefly to blur my bifocal sports glasses - great in the dry - not when covered in rain drops. Cold NW wind. | Chris Pearson | 27/10/2019 |
From Box Law, on to High Corby Knowe. | agentmancuso | 02/01/2019 |
On walk from Largs to Muirfauldhouse via Hill of Stake with uncle and cousin | campagvelocet | 10/05/2018 |
A round of eleven hard won hills from the road to the west. Terrain a nightmare and twelve hours of non stop rain before leaving turned it into a quagmire. The rain continued all the time I was out. I don't want too many days like this! | thenomad | 20/11/2017 |
