| Circular route from Wanlockhead, lots of very flat summits in mist and drizzle. Climbed Wanlock Dod fairly directly, then along ridge to Sowen Dod and Snarhead Hill, on to camp near top of Reecleuch Hill. Continued to Slough Hill and Windy Dodd. Descended E to glen but couldn't cross Snar Water where planned. Crossed just N of Snar Law and traversed to climb Rake Law and Hunt Law, back over Wanlock Dod and back to start point. | RobertP | 01/12/2022 |

| From Leadhills, handy parking area didn't seem to be attached to any particular house at NS 8872 1544. Good track heading NW for ~300m then headed off over heather keeping S of Glennery Scar. | With Claire. From Slough Hill. Dropped ENE to the Snar Water. Followed the river upstream to path junction by Snarhead ruin. (There is no longer a path here as marked on the OS map, but mainly grass, so ok).
