Boreland hill and Redbank hill from East LodgeAndrew Simmons31/03/2023
Down and up from Criffel, very rough going. Continued on North over Meikle Hard Hill & Tunnock Hill to find track to Glen Craig. Absolutely brutal going through the heather.agentmancuso25/03/2022

Out and back from Criffel summit. Very hard work, but no obviously better option.mae05/01/2022
From Criffel, over pretty grim heather and mossy tussocks. Certainly a fine view but enjoyment was tarnished by the fact that i had to face the return trip to Criffel. Nith catchment completedColin Crawford19/08/2020
From Criffel. Rough going. Half way along there was a pleasantly well-built wall to cross. Then more rough going to Cuil Hill. It was so bad that I thought it better to cut down through brash to a forest road.Alan Moore10/05/2018
Up forest tracks from SSW. Thetussocks are very hard going. No view due to mist.cjo02/12/2017
After Criffel. Heathery, tussocky, wet. What a waste of time... until summit reached, then what a view to the SW; made it worthwhile - just!jonglew06/04/2017
