Drove to Bealach Luachrach (cheating?). Trig first then summit. Stupendous views.lordtonult08/07/2023
Up forestry track Glen Bernera to white don't dig posts which we followed, atv track sometimes. Down NE ridge to about 824234 then NW DON'T through tree litter left from felling HORRENDOUS. Back to Glenelg on coast path which was nice.rogreeves30/03/2023
Drove a surprising distance up the track. With Bob in awful damp weather. No view.Play2End17/09/2022

Route as per N. Morters and Gill. Verge parking around 1km along forest track, just after last house.willyross15/01/2022
From Glen Bernara, good forest track to Bealach Luachrach, where the ATV track starts next to pines and white marker poles. Wet at first, track turns left at steep area, seems to end at a tussocky bog, where it turns right up hill, very hard to spot in mist amongst lines of brash. It goes all the way to the bealach, rejoining the white posts and following a metal/wire fence. Short off piste through lush vegetables to summit obvious in mist. Brief clearing showed me Loch Alsh and Kyle Rhea then mist again.Gill24/09/2021
Parking at start of excellent track Glen Bernera (smooth and would be easy to drive). Walked up to Bealach Luachrach as I wasn’t tempted by the forest felling thrash near quarries. A good choice as there is now a path/ATV track following buried power line to newish communications relay station (probably serving Arnisdale relayed from Dornie), marked by yellow topped white poles and old wall/fence line. Trig first.N.Morters07/08/2020
Via track from Galltair to south. Start of path just to left hand corner house - nicely mown grass. Track muddy and over grown in parts. Best to stay on this till reach forest edge (NG 831217) then up side forest - deer trod/feint atv. An alternative route would be to use the good track from Bernera farm (NG 808207) to bealach (NG 827220)carole engel27/07/2020
Track through Glen Bernera, from S. Left track at small quarry & battled through deep heather/grass & went on to a steep grassy rake/gully. Impressive hill.ger21/05/2019
Parked by road opposite side to beach, Up Glen Bernera and up by quarry to trig pt, then to summit. Descent along atv track following power cable (an easier ascent). With PM.CJM20/05/2019
Parked up close to the beach just before the bridge at 809206. Walked past Bernera farm to the quarry and then straight up to the trig. From the real summit descended to the forest track following the cable to 827220. In hindsight an ascent from here may be easier if you don't want to visit the trig. With CM. 3 hour return.bolton20/05/2019
Via Bealach Luachrach, taing in the trig afterwards before heading off NW to pick up Druim na Leitire.Smudge11/05/2019
MC JC O. From Genera Farm, through clear felled area and steeply to the summit. Descended to the west down a gully just to the north of the summit, across open hillside and finally through brash to join the coastal path. Returned via the coastal path.Martin6616/02/2019
With Hareen and LunaBigNick11/08/2018
From Bernera Farm road end up F C road to small quarry at 816220. Through Heather, bracken and brash to gully through crags at 82027 22186 then easy to top. Visited trig and, in clag, to summit 300m away. A high voltage underground cable crosses over the hill.NormanW05/08/2018
From Glenelg (Old Smithy), up on fp near Bernera farm to Bealach and then through forest debris to summit. Reasonable views. Descent to Ardintoul Bay and return via track.MichaelF11/07/2018

With Mrs G. From Benera Farm to Bealach Luachrach then direct to trig following quad bike tracks initially, then across the rough.jonglew14/05/2017
From Bernera, track to 150 metres then steeply up to grass rake through the crags. Forestry has been felled but the tree litter remains and cannot be completely avoided.Topographer5709/05/2017
Up from near the beach along forest track. Cut up steeply over heathery ground to trig then top. Shame the cloud came in and soaked us.jenx18/05/2016
With Jenx from steadings to south. Forest tracks then direct line up under crags following grassy rakes to trig top then main summit.nordicstar18/05/2016
Start/park at bridge @808206, follow forest track to high point, turn right up mast track to trig. Forest almost all felled. Dry, sunny, warm and good views.iangalbraith13/10/2015

Linear walk from Mam Ratagan over B a'Chuirn. The best bit was that attached to B a'Chuirn. Logging on S flanks.jimbloomer21/11/2014
From the S, track through forest and up onto summitAndrewFinnimore24/06/2014
Track from Bernera beach. Past some dreadful agricultural detritus and into the woods. Thankfully the trees are not so closely planted that it is not impossible to pick a way through to the open hillside. Great views of Sound of Sleat.Martin R15/02/2012

On 14/04/2019 I went up Glen Bernera to where the road crosses a stream and then through a clearfelled area (straightforward) to open ground and the top. Went down south and southeast to a vehicle track which led to the high point of the road.Alan Moore04/03/2009

Parked by the beach. On Bernera track around into forest and a steady gain in height. A mile further on the track I could see a clear way through trees to open moor. Heavy going up and down through swamp, tall heather and hidden rocks to find old fence posts to Vanessa 9750 at 15.50. Sharply down and up again about 100' to given top at 16.00. No cairn.arranc13/07/2006
Staying in Glenelg so walked up bedise the Allt Mor Ghalltair on path before using a forest ride to break through onto the open top.garyhoney19/06/2006
