A circuit of the Cowgill reservoirs: Ward Law - Woodycleuch Dod - Hudderstone, Windgate Bank - Duncangill Hardrig Head and back by Smallgill Rig and the Cowgill Upper Reservoir Dam. Swirling icy mist largely hiod the brutalist wind turbines, then gave way to afternoon sunshine, bathing the surrounding snowy hills in pink.
