From the parking area NT 859 114 below Rowhope. Followed the bridleway up the ridge to the border, diverting the short distance to bag Swineside Law. On reaching the border headed SW on the PW over Mozie Law to Beefstand Hill along often half submerged flagstones. Then returned along the border ridge over Windy Rig to the summit of Windy Gyle. Then S down the bridleway along the Trows Law ridge to Trows, Rowhope and the parking area. From Wedder Leap car park. Middle Hill, The Middle,Ward Law,Little Ward Law(Why not) then up to Windy Gyle and along The Penine Way to Windy Rig and Mozie Law. Descended over Mozie Law south top. A path leads down the shoulder to Carlcroft Hope where another traverses above the wood to the east finally rising to join The Street. Up The Street to Swineside Law, then on to Mozie Law. After checking out both the Scottish & English sides, headed eastwards along the Pennine Way to Windy Rig and Windy Gyle (loved the paving stones over the boggy bits). Parked where the unsurfaced track from Greenhill Farm crosses the Heather Hope Burn. Walked past the little reservoir, which had a pair of swans in residence, over Phillip Shank and Windy Rig to Windy Gyle, then back along the border to Mozie Law, Beefstand Hill and lamb Law, before following a lovely balcony track around the headwall of the Yett Burn to Callaw Cairn and descending via Church Hope Hill to the Heatherhope reservoir track. 13.4 mile walk from Wedder Leap car park, Coquetdale, followed road briefly then up onto Hindside Knowe (25m prominence) and along ridge to Swineside Law, passed goats up onto the Pennine Way, out to Mozie Law and Beefstand Hill and back, then onto Windy Rig and Windy Gyle, headed south missing Ward Law down and up onto The Middle and Middle Hill (nearly completely cleared of trees), then along to Kyloe Shin with a final pull up to Shillhope Law then steep descent back to car park. We walked up Raveen's Knowe via Chew Green and along Pennine Way to camp about half mile E of Russell's Cairn.
