Parked at Succoth car park (£1/hour cash/card).Took path up SE ridge, very dry underfoot, to Cruach nam Miseag and Beinn Narnain. Whilst the cloud base was rising, it didn't rise fast enough for us to have any views from about 800m. It did clear as we were dropping to Bealach a Mhaim and we debated whether to climb back up... The path down is a constructed one further S than shown on the map, coming out near the Cobbler path junction. Good views and very hot from Beinn Ime but beginning to cloud again on the way up the Cobbler and North Peak. Descent via main path to the ESE back to the car park. With Gillian.richard6901/06/2023

Meetup with MS. Beinn Narnain and Beinn Ime, decided to forego the Cobbler because we had walking plans for the next day & it was wet. Found a phone on the way down and had a mission to get it back to its owner. Nav using map and phone. Pretty much followed walkhighlands route.kateslattery9010/08/2019
Horrible day for a solo climb which started with the long, boring, zig-zagging walk which takes you up above the tree line. There was no path to the summit which made getting there, and especially getting back, more difficult with the mist which was especially thick. Would not rush back to do this one.Thomas McIlvaney30/06/2019

set off at 08.50 from the national car park. Headed across the road to begin the walk. Missed the initial steep path through the woods but caught it up at the weir to follow up the front via Cruach nam Miseag. this took me up a few wee scrambles and further on up the rocky path to the gully right of the spearhead. Obvious paths and a fabulous ascent. I descended of the other side to head over to Beinn Narnain. glad I chose this way round to experience this mountain. A fun climb.Zoe Little28/05/2018

Full frontal assault from Succoth, fairly wet and boggy most of the way, probably due to the path doubling as a stream most of the way. Loved the scrambling at the Spearhead. Brilliant views north to Glen Coe and other hills, south to Loch Long, the Firth of Clyde and Arran, east to Ben Lomond and other hills and west to the rest of the Alps.Chris Mac21/09/2017

Arrochar - Cruach nam Miseag - Beinn Narnain - Beinn Ime - Beinn Luibhean - The Cobbler N Peak - The Cobbler - Arrochar. Path ascending the hydro line directly over Creag an Fhithich is a good route of ascent. On the descent, prefer the southernmost of the two paths descending W from the summit to avoid boulders.Mark Jackson20/08/2017

... from the Narnain boulders I decided to go upto the pass between The Cobbler & Narnain. Staying at Crianlarich Youth Hostel. With friends. From near Succoth. We walked up a path beside abandoned hydro-electric railway. Went on contouring path, crossed Allt a’ Bhalachain at the small dam and went up to SE ridge of Ben Arthur. We intended to climb over the SE top (moderate rock climb), but the rock was too damp. We went instead round the SW side of it. We scrambled on to the topmost point of Ben Arthur – carefully due to the somewhat damp conditions. We continued on in mist to Beinn Ime using compass. We took a more northeasterly route on descent, followed by ascent of Beinn Narnain. We followed a path down SE ridge. There were a few bits of unpleasantness on the descent – steep and boggy.pwbellarby22/11/1997

Arrochar- Cruach nam Miseag- Beinn Narnain- Narnian Boulders- Arrochar. Up the 'concrete staircase'- the way in 1996. We'd planned The Cobbler but patchy mist even at Bealach a Mhaim made us choose a less demanding walk. Just as well it was snowing and very windy on top, the rock very greasy. Still ok to enjoy the character of this walk, the Spearhead ridge and nobbly crags were all good features. With Pete.pwheeler19/05/1996

A solo wary winter battle over the Munros of Narnain & Ime -learning how to use my crampons in earnest on the hard icy upper rocky slopes whilst coping with the elements from sunshine to buffeting wind & lashing spindrift. Lower down was the awkward mix of soft snow, boulders, holes and mushy slippery grass. A tiring day from sea level, which saw me limit my over ambitious plan to do all the tops.Chris Pearson06/03/1986

Alone. I departed Arrochar and Tarbet Railway Station at 11:25 and walked along the road to the road junction to Succoth and then up a path WNW, then NW. I ascended via Cruach nam Miseag to Beinn Narnain, then Beinn Ime and Beinn Luibhean. The descent was via Allt a’ Bhalachain. I reached Arrochar and Tarbet Station at 19:40. It was warm with no rain. There was mist on Beinn Ime.pwbellarby10/09/1985
