Parked at NT274142 Forest track then firebreaks to Wedder Law > followed dyke wall SW to Hopehead > S to Cauld Face > followed dyke wall SE to Windlestraw Law > N to pick up the forest track out onto road back to car 11miles 5h 15min 514m ascent. Another four Trumps in the bag.Andrew Simmons15/10/2021
Parked trackside NT 2608 0979. Straight up over clear fell, not too difficult picking a way through.jonglew27/02/2021
Took track round the N side. Steeply up through the trees just E of Arklaw Sike. Deer track across the open ground. Logging track to near top.chrisbien26/06/2019
From track end at NT280101. the obvious fire break up the eastern nose isn't viable due to windthrow so I continued on the track then went up through mature trees from NT264103. Intervening ground on open hill is spongy moss tussocks. A firebreak to the west gets you very close to the top, just within the trees. It may be prudent to check out the area 150m north, which may be as high. Clear felling is in operation all around so this one may re-appear from the conifers fairly soonColin Crawford18/10/2017
