With M, from Capel Curig. Wild day and both feeling ill. Gale force wind at top, could hardly get onto summit rocks without being blown over. Abandoned attempt to continue to Creigiau Gleision and returned the same way.douglas_easton22/10/2022

Parked at the end of the road that goes past Llyn Crafnant at SH 740 602. Followed the track to Llanberis to its summit (after which a new path has been laid). Then took the mountaineers path over the super peak of Crimpau, down to the col and then up to the summit of Craig Wen for a leisurely lunch in the sun. A round trip of 6.7km with 520m ascent, taking 2h 40m with stops.silveracorn_alan17/04/2022

5 summits from Crafnant with Rufus. Parked in NRW car park and followed yellow footpath to end of the llyn. ROW from Blaen y Nant to E of Crimpiau then path to summit just beyond wall. Rough tracks leading over Craig Wen, Craiglwyn and both tops of Creigiau Gleision. Rough track E to fence then over stile by huge blanket bog to follow track S along old fence posts into forest. Simple forest paths and tracks back to Llyn Crafnant. Boggier and rockier than I expected but a cool perspective of Ogwen.jacobrichmond24/08/2020

From Capel Curig: Pen Llithrig y Wrach, Creigiau Gleision North Top,Creigiau Gleision, Craiglwyn, Craig Wen, Crimpiau. Really hard walk,on Good Friday: 12 miles over rough terrain and faint paths. Took 9+ hours.Lazylizzie30/03/2018
A favourite short walk of mine. Last walk of the year did not disappoint. Wet and wild, slippery underfoot and very quiet. Nice stop at the top until the heavens opened! good views to the north and west. Walked up from capel curig, a climb up the left hand side to reach the boglands, across from there to to skim along the Crimpiau back down the northern side towards crafnant before veering around the east and following the hardstanding path down.char4chocs29/12/2017

Cefn Cyfarwydd, Creigiau Gleision north top, Creigiau Gleison, Craiglwyn, Craig Wen and Crimpiau. From Llyn Crafnant.Alunrees3309/07/2017
12 mile walk from Capel Curig starting in sunshine, followed road then up boggy path to water channel, followed water channel to foot of Y Braich ridge and climbed to Pen Yr Helgi Du, the weather was still good by this time but the Glyders went into cloud, descended and steeply ascended onto Pen Llithrig Y Wrach, descended to end of reservoir and ascended pathless slopes onto Creigiau Gleison, by this time the weather had took a turn for the worst, we nearly went into cloud. Followed rough path onto Craiglwyn, then climbed up Craig Wen and Crimpiau, by this time every hill we had done earlier went into cloud, descended to Capel Curig. Great but strenuous walk, if we had started an hour later all the walk would have probably been in cloud!DanTrig09/04/2017
Continuation of walk from Y Pincin. Followed the route to Llyn Crafnant, diverting west on the path to the summit. Continued on to Llyn Carfanant for tea, returning to Capel Curig by much the same route as outwards. NW Office walk.Man of Kernow131/03/2017
