|From ESE, track, with R turn (SH 96891 21170) leading up out of forest onto ridge, then continuing intermittent and a little boggy to level moorland highpoint. Then to Ellesmere for a pleasant stroll to AlexC's 1000th trig en route home.||RHW||25/11/2018|

|From Eunant to the North. Sought permission and granted. Lovely people.
The eagle eyed will have spotted the track which climbs up through the deciduous woodland and a bridge over the sizeable Eunant river. Back in the real world though the condemned bridge is something from a horror movie. Being able to see through the deck to the river below. I risked it. I cant say I would advise it though. The path is all but overgrown now and progress is hindered. From the upper fence its very springy rough grass and heather. Summit area is very flat and top unmarked. Continued East over top to a newish looking gate seeking a view of the lake but generally less visible than might have been expected.||stig_nest||12/09/2016|
|Parked cattle grid to north. Bryn Mawr, Mynydd Goch (direct route bit of a slog but still think probably beats long ridge route) Moel Llygoed, Carreg y Big, Bryn Glas.||ijpowell||14/07/2015|
|Parked at 974214 before completing a circular walk of Bryn Mawr, Bryn Glas, Carreg y Big, Moel Llygoed, Mynydd Coch East Top and Mynydd St John. The ground was a little damp in places but access was straightforward. Descending due north from the last summit I came across a gate into the forest that wasn't marked on the map.||JohnStoneham||10/11/2013|
