Coireshubh to Sgurr nan Eugallt via WH route, descended steep W ridge to Bealach Mhinniceig, then on to Meall nan Eun. Descended rib to W of Coire Sgiath Airig, then down steep, tussocky and wooded slopes to W of burn. Poor choice, should have looked at the map more closely and stuck to the E side instead. Back along path to Kinlochhourn and up to the car. 17 km, 5h50, tough Knoydart milesRockdoctor07/03/2024
From Kinloch Hourn up towards bealach from hi point of Barisdale path. Visited all bumps that looked likely candidates for hi point just in case it gets moved.rogreeves14/04/2023

From the Corbett. Slippy slidey descent from the Corbett on wet grass, mud, stones. Easy from the col over the east top. Descended via Coire Sgiath Airigh to the Loch Hourn path, lovely springy soft grass to 400m asl, horrid from there to the sea loch. Then a pleasant plod along the loch back to Kinloch Hourn.Owen B24/08/2022

Lovely walk along the path from Kinlochhourn as always, though the rhododendron tunnel needs a good pruning. There's a sort of path (a line of dark grass) towards Meall nan Eun a few yards beyond the high point of the path above Skiary which leads to a rough burn crossing (small cairn), then deer tracks continue SW up the hill taking the best, most obvious line up into Coire Sgiath Arigh. Despite traces of path, it's steep, depressingly wet, disgustingly squalid and very unhygienic, though not too rough. Couldn't see the point of extending the outing via the SMC route, so continued in the same direct line across Coire Sgiath Arigh towards and below pt 575, better than the going along the Allt a' Chamuis Bhain, then easy drier ground direct to the 608m bealach and up the hill. Good views. Lochan Meall nan Eun is good for birds. The calls of the black throated divers were quite spooky. Section 10B complete.Gill29/06/2022
Slat Bheinn, An Caisteal, Meall nan Eun and tops from Kinloch Hourn. Took Barrisdale path for approx 2.5km then climbed to Bealach Mhinniceig. Steep drop to Glen Barrisdale and climb to Slat Bheinn (mist and rain), descent back to glen and climb to the excellent An Caisteal. Traverse to Meall nan Eun W top (climbing steeply at W end to avoid crags) then Meall nan Eun and W top. Some rain and mist, intermittent partial viewsRobertP29/05/2022
Camping at Barisdale. Climbed from bealach to east, after direct descent from Slat Bheinn. Descended back down to Glen Barisdale via coire.Grinner14/05/2022
From Kinloch Hourn on main path to Barrisdale. Leave path at high point just beyond Skiary and head for bealach between Meall nan Uan and Sgurr nan Eugallt, over east top to main top.Jossker07/05/2022
From Kinloch Hourn via Barrisdale. Up Glen Barrisdale on new 4x4 track to 910042, then followed stream to summit. On to Sgurr nan Eugallt.quadbarrel27/06/2021
From Kinlochhourn along towards Skiary, then past it by around 500m to high point of path at around 110m. From there followed series of vague paths in SW direction to top, then on to western top and cairn, from where Barrisdale Bay can be seen. Returned by outward route.willyross02/06/2021

Round of Eugallt and Eun from Kinlochhourn. Cloud lifted, all surrounding summits clear from Eun. Descended to join Barisdale path at high point SW of Skiary, found steep section of path to be in very poor condition.Topographer5713/07/2018

Camped at Kinloch Hourn. The hill was very hard work - no path, steep long grass filled with rocks. Views good though, out to Larven and beyond to Skye.IanHHill16/07/2015

From Coireshubh. Stalker's path to Sgurr nan Eugallt, along to Meall nan Eun, then down and up to Slat Bheinn and Sgurr a' Choire-bheithe. Down again and up to Ben Aden, then out by Loch Quoich to road and along the road to the car. Long day.mae24/05/2010
Parked at end of road at Loch Hourn. Hot sun and breeze from S. Coffee at top of path 1/2 mile beyond Skiary. 350'. Up and over horrendous uneven vegetation clad moor making slow progress. Very rough underfoot. At 2,000' a large deer grass sloping meadow led across 2 stream gorges to the complex rocky top of the hill. Slooshed hat in streams. 2 small stones on highest boulder at 13.10, Airigh and Eugalt block E horizon. Sgurr Mor, Slat Bheinn next door, S na Ciche, Choire-beithe, Luinne Bheinn, Ladhar Bheinn, Caillich, Loch Hourn, Cuillin, Sgritheall, Fada opposite, Saddle and B Bheinn. Neat Lochan just below summit. Took same time coming down as it did going up! 6 1/2 hrs.arranc11/07/2009
