11th top of 12 on a 28km circular from Llanarmon D.C continuation from Rhos, following ridgeline to promontory top at the 591m spot then I descended steeply by the fenceline over a fence then climbed up to the top at the corner. Continuation E then NE to footpath on pasture heading for Cefn Hir-fynydd...Dazingdale09/03/2024

Last hill of a walk that was easier than expected and reminiscent of the Southern Uplands, although Cadair Berwyn could pass for the Southern Highlands. Descended to Tyn-y-ffridd by path to west and through Maes with scary dogs - fortunately secured. 21km, 5 hours.Wycombe Wanderer20/01/2022

Only just made it up the road from Oswestry to park at 14604 30947. More snow on the road than the hill.because of snow on the road.clivevilla13/02/2020

First hill on our Berwyn Horseshoe - nice &dry underfoot, not like the last two attempts!DanMaisieBex06/05/2019
Garneddwyn and Rhos. Annoying pair I've intended to do for some time but not got round to. Was actually a very enjoyable walk. Was approached by an extremely overzealous newborn lamb who had not yet learned to fear strangers, the mother was not impressed.tumpawumpa30/03/2019

Start as per JohnStoneham and Anton. All gates en route were open so didn't even need stiles. house platform is unremarkable as is cairn near summit. summit area a bit scruffy. Bits of timber and scraggy fencing.. Myn.Tarw has been clear felled too and as you can imagine this detracts slightly too from what is otherwise a superb view into the Berwyn. Top is definitely that which is nearest the Berwyn ridge.stig_nest01/09/2016

Parked at the road junction to the east (space for several cars) and took a very easy route along the footpath. Stiles were very slippy so I was glad that ther was no barbed wire around.JohnStoneham08/11/2014
