Revisit in passing. #6 of 7 from SN793830, nice ascent of steep SW ridge after a SubTump session S side of A44. Then followed track to Esgair y Maen to avoid flogging thru snowy heather.RHW21/01/2023
A second attempt at Llechwedd Hirgoed, this time from a lay by near the Elvis Stone on the A44. Having been turned back from the east side on an earlier attempt, no issues with Sweet Lamb this time, kept on access land throughout. Visited Cripiau Eisteddfa-fach, Llechwedd Hirgoed, and its West Top. 7km with 350m ascent taking 2hours.silveracorn_alan01/08/2022

Pont Rhydgaled to Ponterwyd: Probably nicer top (with tarn view) than the Deweys to E. Less noise from A44 too, although rallytracks to NE can prove an audial intrusion.Smudge16/02/2013
