From Pwll y Bo cp. Up tracks using mountain bike. Final 200 ms through forest not pleasant. Found what purports to be the fp on way back.Campbell Singer06/08/2023
From Nany-y-Brain. Awful, pathless tussocky up the steep part then not too bad on a faint path by the forest fence.clivevilla26/10/2021
We followed the wide gravel forest tracks south from Pwll y Bo/ Irfon Forest picnic site and then the bridleway NW on an overgrown boggy firebreak, marked by red and white plastic tape to within 100m of the summit. Then it was a thrash west through pine plantation with sharp side branches and ditches to a moss -covered trig, probably the HP, exactly as mapped . We exited north, slightly less dense vegetation but a little further back to the boggy bridleway.Denise 17/03/2018
Forest road from Pwll Bo car park then not the best of bridleways to its NE before a short struggle through scratchy branches of Sitka Spruce to mossy trig pillar. Assume pillar to mark the summit but this may be optimistic as it's a large 690m contour.RichardM17/03/2018
Its no surprise that this pillar is not visited very regularly. Parked in the hamlet of Llanwrdyd in the church car park and had to change our original route pretty quickly was we couldn't get across Nant Lletgwael. Instead we aimed for this trig by taking the ralatively good footpath NE which hugs the hillside before going up into Cefn Cwmirfon. Where the path splits we took the right hand path heading NE and then a rough firebreak north to near the trig point. My friends fancied the challenge of looking for it without the aid of a GPS and pretty much succeeded. It is not too far from the firebreak but still a battle to get to. Not an easy one!Father Ted27/11/2017

SN8456249608.Parked Llanwrtyd church car park, took track and bridle way to fence coming in from right just NE of cwm-herog, went up fence then directly N to hit fence and old TV aerial over here and contoured right through scrub to pick up old track, followed tracks and path until adjacent to top then bashed through trees to well hidden trig.Anton08/09/2014
