No summit but skirted summit on the Black Mountains OMM visiting a high sheepfold checkpoint, at a run with Darren heading into the teeth of blasting heavy snow showers in a numbing strong north wind. Cold winds and sun was the forecast, no showers ! Very atmospheric whilst it lasted for half an hour. | Chris Pearson | 27/10/2018 |

Clear paths throughout except on Waun Fach summit plateau. Would be rather boggy between Waun Fach & Pen y Gadair Fawr during a wet spell. | david230201 | 10/09/2014 |
Castle Inn, Waun Fach, Pen y Gadair Fawr, Pen Twyn Mawr, Crug Mawr, Llanbedr. Kind of by accident as I couldn't find earlier descents after Pen Twyn Mawr. Pub at Llanbedr doesn't open til 7 weekdays. | squeegs | 22/07/2014 |
