As others up BW from Nantyrharn Farm then good track on access land before heading across to HP. Across to North top and trig. | PeterD | 06/03/2024 |
Parked at Nantyrham. Pleasant farmer pulled up on quad. Winter feeding sheep. Up the bw and onto moor. Surprisingly good underfoot after a week of almost continuous rain. On to north top. Biting cold wind and light rain from the west. | Campbell Singer | 13/01/2023 |
Parked at Nantyrharn and used the excellent bw onto the hill. Then headed SE to the southern top. The trig point on the northern top appeared much lower. | Rob Rees | 27/01/2022 |
Parked at 92153 27123, down the track and across the stepping stones. Up the track which became a bracken bash before leaving it anyway for more bracken then emerging onto grassland for the final run to Fforest Fach N.Top. Kept west to avoid the valley for the traverse to Fforest Fach then worked my way down and back to the start. | clivevilla | 29/07/2019 |
From Nantyrharn, up to surprisingly extensive grasslands on high. On to North Top | Colin Crawford | 30/03/2019 |
From Nantyrharn farm. | Ramblingpaul | 26/09/2018 |
From North Top, crossing a boggy Cwm Clydach. All rough ground. Returned to Nantyrharn Farm. | jonglew | 07/09/2016 |
from Crai and bridleway in NE direction - didnt seem much height gain... | dicky | 01/11/2015 |
From column on N top, down for a mile over grassy moor and on compass to HP determined by GPS. Allegedly only 1m higher! Continued east to skirt a huge patch of bracken and down on grass to find a pleasant path leading straight to a second building, road and car. | arranc | 18/09/2015 |
pleasant hill; lovely view; TP seems considerably more than 1m lower than S Top. via Cwm Clydach b/w & N top; returning via Pantymaes quarry | RHW | 05/01/2003 |
