Cefn Coch-Coety Mountain-Coety Mountain Boundary-Gwastad-Mynydd James-Mulfran from north. Couldn't say much about first 3 as visibility down to about 30m which made things interesting. Happily cleared for middle part of day. | TK | 09/03/2024 |
5.5 mile solo run loop on a gloriously sunny day . Wasnt sure what to expect from this top but it was a little cracker .. parked in small layby at SO193100 (there is a car par at SO192099 but it was full) .. lap of the top then down a cracking ridge descent to Cwmcelyn lake .. lap of lake (there was a perch fishing comp) then back to car using the bike route | milejunkie | 14/01/2024 |

From Blaina, circular walk inc. Cefn Coch and Mynydd James. Mixture of muddy quad bike tracks and off-piste over rough tussocky ground. Snowed quite hard at one point, but nothing settling. | jonglew | 09/04/2016 |
Circular route from Cwmtillery. Useful car park at 21781 06091: Mynydd James, Mulfran, Cefn Coch, Coity Mountain & Gwastad. All round topped hills. Route via various quad tracks with a fair bit of yomping across heather thrown in. | Cas-gwent | 02/02/2016 |

Parked by Inn to the NE. Spent a while to look for TP19282 Block 200m to the north of the spot height. Failed to find. | Dusty | 30/08/2015 |
3/8 Parked underneath and this was the first part of major circuit of the 6 peaks on plateau....started and finished here..... | Fergalh | 13/12/2014 |
From parking area at 219 110. SW through bog then west up to ridge and across more bog to summit. Back down NE headed toward the Pub but ended up in even more bog. This one put end to my day as struggled on lumpy boggy ground. Not a good hill, but love Blaenavon area with Big Pit, the Railway and scenic slag heaps now turned over to nature etc. | dicky | 30/06/2013 |
