On a lovely walk from the Hethpool stone circles to Wooler, taking in Little Hetha Camp and various other hillforts/settlements following the footpath then bridleway along the northern ridge of the hills. Yeavering Bell is very impressive (although very cold and windy), with excellent views the north. A great day out, other than being bitten by a tick at some point on the hills east of here.thesweetcheat17/10/2019
Extremely hot day. Water supplies ran out so had to turn back.whoredom25/08/2019

With my daughter (6). From Gefrin lay-by to St Cuthbert's Way. Following hill fort trail way markers to summit. Strong biting wind but blue skies. Lots of people there. Descended more direct route and saw wild goats.NorthernWayfarer25/02/2018
Room for a couple of cars at the junction of the Old Yeavering lane (alt 71m), although other smaller cars can park down the lane itself. There is a good, waymarked path all the way to the summit. Makes sense to include White Law as well.moorsman01/08/2017
