Continuation from Stipperstones. Took longer to get here as we went over every single lump, bump & pinnacle inbetween.DanMaisieBex24/07/2020
11.7 mile walk from The Bog car park, followed surprisingly easy and well waymarked paths across fields to Mucklewick Hill, from there headed south through Nind farm and along unclassified road up onto Black Rhadley Hill, from there followed road a little further then path up to Nipstone Rock (22m prominence), then easy trail up onto Stiperstones (2nd time bagged), nice rocky climb up to the trig, then followed Shropshire way north with a quick heather bash onto The Paddock, turned back and followed contouring path west of Stiperstones back to The Bog. Clear and sunny/breezy day with amazing views of surrounding area and afar from the Radnor Forest up to Plynlimon area and Snowdonia; You could easily see the Berwyns, Aran Fawddwy, Cadair Idris and what looked like Glasgwm, Maesglase and maybe even Snowdon. Quite busy on Stiperstones but the rest of the walk fairly quiet. Earlier that day bagged Earls Hill.DanTrig20/06/2020
Lockdown travel restrictions eased hence my first full day out for eight weeks. Lindsey and I parked (two cars) at Snailbeach and walked eastward up the metalled road round the hairpin bend then left past the chapel. From there a clear track heads through a belt of trees to the Stiperstones ridge. We left the track and walked cautiously through the ling and bilberry keeping a lookout for gound-nesting birds. The highest point of The Paddiock appears to be the cairn. Having walked the ridge several times down the years we returned to the car park for a picnic before setting off to Caer Caradoc.Skip19/05/2020
Parked early in village of Stiperstones , short but steep climb up for a loop across the top . Very windy on top and saw nobody else up there.. combined with the main peak of Stiperstones .. Headed for Corndon Hill next.D SID03/02/2020
A long walk along the lower flanks with a visit to Brook Vessons nature reserve before heading to The Paddock and a return along the spine to the car parkgreboicus30/12/2019
From Cranberry Rock Car Park after visiting Stipperstones trig, good path most of the way apart from final ascent, cairn seemed highest point.PeterD07/04/2019
Parked to the SE of Cranberry Rock. Then walked up to Stiperstones, climbed up to the trig again after 16.5 years, then walked over to the Paddock. Returned by same route before the drizzle arrived.Dugswell201/10/2018
From Snailbank village hall via Lordshill first. Majority of ascent in the first section of the climb before levelling out relatively through farmland. Path not always obvious through the farms but there is a good path from the cottages onwards. Summit amongst dense heather a few hundred metres from main path.muzza214/08/2018
With Rob from CP to S before coming back along ridge to Trig then around Nipstone and The RockKC15/06/2018
After Stiperstones. Impossible to determine exact summit with visibility of only 20m. Visited a few possible high points, and also 37724 00407, the reading currently shown on here ( which clearly isn't the high point, being an average of two points 100m apart).Crib Goch12/04/2018
From Mytton Dingle, track then f/p past old mines gets steeper to emerge on flat ridge. Short way beyond is large track. Best to follow this S a little way extra before heading for top, heather shorter,Aye Jimmy27/10/2017
Along the ridge from the South car park to the Paddock and back via the trig point. Occasional intense showers made scrambling on slippy rock quite interesting. A marvellously atmospheric place.Nick Down103/06/2017
7/8 Seventh of eight on windy wet day (Cothercut Hill/Rathlinghope Hill/Linely Hill/Heath Mynd/Cefn Gunthly/Knolls/The Paddock/Grinshill Hill)Fergalh28/01/2017
Minsterley to White Grit over the Stiperstones Ridge. A rough detour through deep heather. Low cloud creeping through the valleys between here and Long Mynd.Jake99425/01/2017
With Jo, circular walk from The Bog cp: road and SW to Stiperstones and The Paddock, then via Stiperstones village to Buxton Hill, returning along road with a detour to the Tankerville Lead Mine site. Weather; sunny, warm day with good visibility.amblerbob19/10/2016
Walked along the ridge from Stiperstones. Rough heather/bilberry with no obvious track but no access probs. Summit cairn.sooztops30/09/2016
From Snailbeach. Pleasant top treated as a hill in its own right. The true s/stones summit is far enough away to feel separate. Super view across the plains.stig_nest06/07/2016
Parked in the bog carpark, walked up to Stiperstones, climbed up to the trig again, then walked over to the paddock. Not the nicest of paths but easy enough. With Sophie.Laura.W03/05/2016
With Minnie, from Stiperstone parking, low path past Gatten plantation, up to Shepherds Rock & The Paddock, along Stiperstones via Shropshire Way to Devil's Chair, Manstone & Cranberry Rock back to parking, started dull but brightened up, nice couple of hours.apricorum17/03/2016
From the pub, WDP all the way to plateau including a lot of steps on the steep bit. Used GPS to locate HP.arranc10/08/2015
Large free park to the south east of Stiperstones. Everybody that I passed remarked how uncomfortable the path was to negotiate. However, if you are returning to the car park you can avoid it by picking up the track that starts at the cairn 250m towards Stiperstones and head down below them to the fence line. The track following the fence is an easy walk back to Stiperstones car park.moorsman13/05/2013

From Stiperstones. Cloud coming and going. You need a clear view to make sure you reach the highest point.clivevilla16/12/2012

difficult to judge the true summit spent a long period of time on the hillhodder24/02/2011
Visited as part of "all summits over 500m in Shropshire" in Aug 2010 with a friend. Unremarkable summit, but fantastic views. We walked up from Stiperstones Village. And we were mad enough to do this one long before it appeared on this site!Chingwakabungya02/08/2010
Exact loc of summit unclear. Deep heather, stone pile, fine view, a veritable city of stone mounds just to N. c/w circuit from Inn including Devils Chair RHW21/08/2005
