From Quainton Church... Shame about the trig pillar locked in the reservoir. If I was younger and more agile I'd've been able to get over the gate.vegibagger25/08/2021
Started and finished in Quainton, lovley village and hills to start and finish walk from, explored whole area but ran out of time before i could bag Oving Hill, look forward to going back.Gareth188608/05/2021

4-Tump circuit from Waddesdon: Quainton Hill, Bunshill, Waddesdon Hill, Lodge Hill.PGCE21/04/2020
3rd tump and final Bucks top after Mursley mound and Bunshill. I took fp's to North Marston then via linking fp's to Matthews Way veering off for top in field North of comms compound. Dropped onto Matthew Way/ North Bucks Way into Quainton. Nice coffee shop annexe to George & Dragon pub. Took last bus to Aylesbury for mmy stopover..Dazingdale18/01/2020
Very pleasant walk up from Church: Quainton is superb old village.GordonAdshead10/05/2019
1.9 mile there-and-back walk from Quainton village along ridge to summit, trig in reservoir compound but stood on highest natural ground we could find, earlier that day did an 8.6 mile walk taking in Coombe Hill (again), Pulpit Hill and Beacon Hill, then drove to and bagged Waddesdon Hill, this was the last hill of the day in lovely warm clear summery weather, nice views from summit.DanTrig09/10/2018
Across fields from the church. Highest point seemed to be N of the compound just E of the track. Overtopped by nearby mound of those horsey wood chippings.Aye Jimmy25/08/2018
England's finest county all around.Wycombe Wanderer17/07/2018
Parked by the church and walked up through fields, firstly with sheep and then fairly placid bullocks. HP seems to be behind the reservoir in the next field but I did the reservoir too to make sure.clivevilla28/04/2018
Parked next to the church. Straightforward pasture walk. Top seems to be SP 75042 21357. Big views in all directions.Campbell Singer09/12/2017
With N and Al. From Quainton.Owen B09/12/2017
Caught up a lady walking her dog immersed in Tweet of the Day (Barnacle Goose)on Radio 4 . Ran down to catch 9.45am bus the 12 miles to Bicester then to walk / run back over 7 Tumps to car at Wassenden. Alas no bus on a sunday - discovered I had a 2015 timetable (printed off web this week?) So Plan B - drive and bag -easier but not as satisfying or immersive as linking all by foot.Chris Pearson02/10/2016
From Church. HP on track just past compounds.PeterD31/03/2016
HP in pasture to N of comms compound. Trig on covered resr higher but not natural grd.jonglew10/03/2016

Natural high point on track just N of covered reservoir. Trig point on reservoir higher. Cycled up from Quainton after lunch and a very nice pint of Old Hooky in the George and DragonRichardM02/08/2015
OS column on raised covered reservoir protected by fences and wire. 10.10.arranc16/11/2014
On North Bucks Way, climbed near the end of a nice 20-mile bimble from north of Milton Keynes to Quainton. Great views, especially walking off the long SW ridge. Agree that the highest natural point is a bit further north than the trig on the reservoir. Lovely little hill.wheresthepath30/08/2014
Good walk up one way and down the other.rhalstead09/02/2013
As Simon and Co. If miss bridleway (takes some missing) you get to Denham Farm and no way through (probably) - returned to bridleway and very pleasant. Suggest summit is by the bench not the trig point.destaylor04/01/2013
Up from the lane to Denham Farm. Make sure you turn left at the bridlepath unlike me. Busy top with a full hunt chasing across plus some clay pigeon shooters! Top seems to nave through the trees (natural one) and somewhat past the water tank.simon and co16/12/2012
From village, parked by windmill and took FP - ran as far as gate and bog! After passing jogged rest of way to top in 10 mins. Low fence easy to climb and bag trig. Great view point, down old track to village and car.nordicstar10/10/2012
Parking by the church. Followed tarmac drive then bridleway straight up to top (heading for the mast). Trig is on reservoir, but easy access via hole in fence. True top just to north of mast on the bridleway. Very nice village with windmillHillsidenick05/09/2012
With DP from Cambridge doing all the Chiltern HuMPs in a day. Probably the best summit of the day - nice walk up SW ridge from Quainton to trig and down Swan's Way to S. Trig is on fenced off covered reservoir - easy to climb fence though. Good views.Mark Jackson18/02/2012
HuMP-bagging day trip to the Chilterns with Mark Jackson. Parked by Quainton village green. Ascent by North Buckinghamshire Way, descent by Swan's Way. Highest ponit is on covered reservoir. Very pleasant in the late-afternoon sunshine.davidpettit8418/02/2012
