Early start, here at 6.30. All the car parks were closed with barriers across so parked in a small pull in opposite the last caravans. Up the many steps and along to the Trig.fosal2901/09/2019
Walk from Brean village along the beach in lovely sunny weather. Mainly came to see the barrows, which are very well-placed but quite levelled. There's also an interesting Iron Age promontory fort at the eastern end of the hill. Good views (if hazy) of Brent Knoll and Weston.thesweetcheat23/02/2019

Logged as YSM348 Brean Down Walked up here many a time as my Mum had a static caravan down at Warren Farm for many years. Don't remember the trig point at all but must have passed it many times as we walked right to the end more than once! Steep climb up to this but Mr U2 had Pokemon to keep him occupied so I could take my time. Lovely views from the top and brought back many happy memories and good nights had in the local establishments.thejackrustles21/04/2017

Climbed via Steps from Brean Down beach on a stop-off en-route to Glamping in the Quantocks while my partner and her children played on the lovely beach below. Saw some of the goats and the wind_swept trees. Did not go beyond the summit which appeared to be ground a few metres beyond the trig pillar. Worthy of a return visit as part of a circular in the area.Dazingdale03/07/2015
