Not a bunny in sight. Approached from the west along Wayfairer's Walk after visiting Ladle Hill. Stepped over low rusty gate to hp and trig in field. Descended down NW slope then followed road back to van past Quarry Cottages, through Sydmonton, back to van. Well chuffed, only 4.5 miles total but longest hike of achilles rehab to date.mntainman17/02/2024

From Ladle Hill, down a strip of access land then across the top of the downland, visiting the trig point, to the car park above White Hill. Very nice 3h walk, using access land on scarp one way and along the whaleback downland ridge the other, with little retrace. Mostly sunny and warm.pwheeler22/07/2020
