Walk Highlands route, some fresh snow sand mist but pleasant day outCapt Malbec05/03/2023
Solo from small parking area/layby on the A830. Followed track up to high point (around 450m) and then anti-clockwise loop around to the summit, then SSW and S back to the track. Dry weather, but very cold with wind-chill - lower ground wet, icy with bands of icy snow up high. Total time 3h on the dot.mproudfoot23/12/2022
With Malky during Shills meet, in about four inches of soft snow from about the 500m mark. Stiff easterly breeze on top, only partial views, clag coming and going, wet spindrift. Up by forestry road and down W ridge following fence to bealach between Utha and Graham to W, then S out. Rounsfell10/12/2022
Solo prior to Wilsons Walkers weekend at Linnhe caravan site. I returned by reverse of ascent route as I did not fancy the SW ridge descent with a sore knee.langskill16/09/2022
No parking signs at the track start -876817. However, a layby is only 200 yrds west. Left the track about 877828 and went up the SW ridge. Fairly easy going in good weather with Dangerous Dave.bolton17/08/2022

From A830 track and faint path to Fraoch-bheinn and Sgurr an Utha.rhalstead18/10/2021
Track from A830, paralleling the Allt an Utha until it turns eastwards to climb Druim na Brein-choille. At its end a small path, occasionally cairned, reaches the col with Fraoch-bheinn, from where the summit is easily attained. Westwards across a wide ridge to Sgurr an Utha, reversing the route until finding a deep pool for a spot of skinny-dipping to cool us down on a very hot day.summitter05/06/2021
From the layby on the A830. Up the good track to 400m asl, then up the Allt an Utha heading for point 735, then easy to the summit. Fantastic views.Owen B28/05/2021
With Sue, car park opposite track up Druim na Brien-choille then up the shoulder to Fraoch-bheinn then across to Sgurr an Utha return via same way. Very wet underfoot, cloudy and wet. Some view on summits.Frank18/10/2020

With Ldnp volunteers Bern Helier, John Peel and Pauline Bobby. Ascent via Fraoch bheinn where we found rare Alpine plant diapensia lapponica.batrigg16/05/2019
Parked at Glenfinnan NT Car Park - main track into Glen Finnan under Mc Alpines RC Rail Viaduct. Forestry clearance tracks allow us to rise onto Creag Dherg (steep and slow). As we reach Froach bhein the snow starts to fall and swirl around us. Bag summit of Sgurr an Utha excellent views between the snow showers. Descended via Coire Dubh and Tom na h Aire before dropping back into Glen finnan.briandavies03/05/2019

With Dave and Jill from A830. Up track to Fraoch-bheinn then on to Sgurr an Utha in mist. Back to col then south to track. Dry but snow all melted.mindlessflogger21/12/2017
Knee injury meant I used this as an easy day bagging, but low cloud and a slightly confused descent on Fraoch-bheinn meant I wasted an extra 1 hour and a half. I should really have gone anti-clockwise.Jhimmy22/09/2017

A revisit to celebrate Anne Bunn's final Corbett (although I only bag Marilyns), excuse for usual alcohol and cake.Martin R10/09/2015
An excellent day, this was penultimate top of a round of 1 Corbett, 4 Corbett tops and 1 Graham top from the Corryhully bothy. Everything went pretty well, got wet to just above my knees crossing the river from the two NW tops to get to this one and the ascent up the fence line to this summit was very steep and a bit tricky on wet snow and wet ground, quite a few outcrops to thread away through. Fortunately the heather roots were firmly embedded. A really satisfying day and the weather held out after some morning cloud on the first couple of tops.dickscroop04/05/2015

With Shaky. After 5 Corbetts in 2 days over some rough ground, this was supposed to be a relatively quick & easygoing option. Hmmm. Up the track off the A830 & then up increasingly rough ground to Fraoch-bheinn & on to the summit. The reward for sweating it out on a warm day was a spectacular view which we soaked up for a good while. Back by the same route.NotReallyABagger07/08/2013
