Short diversion off route to Sgurr nan Eag, Sgurr a' Choire Bhig and Gars-bheinn.PGCE22/05/2023
OMC Meet at Glenbrittle campsite. Climbed with Andy Moffat, after descending from Sgurr nan Eag, in order to get a better view of a coastguard helicopter doing a training landing. The helicopter buzzed the coire twice and landed on the third pass, taking ages hovering a few feet above the ground, with the whinchman leaning over to make sure the helicopter missed the rocks and wouldn't bottom out... Times given were for full day.chillyman829/04/2022
From Glen Brittle Memorial Hut, good track leads up into Coir' a' Ghrunnda, gets a bit scrambly but nothing difficult. First hill on a linear route to Gars-bheinn over 4 intervening tops. On to Sgurr Dubh an Da Bheinn.jonglew01/10/2019

With Rob Wight on his second last munro. Superlative day. Rib into Loch Coruisk. Dubh slabs in clear dry sunny weather. Exciting swinging abseil from Sgurr Dubh Beag nose. Fantastic clear view of Ridge from Sgurr Dubh Mhor. Finally a coastguard helicopter buzzing us in Coire a Ghrunnda. 8 hours walking 12 hour day.alexmaclennan25/05/2017

On first trip to Southern end of Cuillin, as mae describes, straightforwardnordicstar01/05/1999
Ice-rounded rocks on the lip of the upper coire. Double topped – higher southern top crowned with several boulders. Hard scramble up SW face from lower coire. Steep but easy descent of worn slabs to lochan in upper coire.Coiruisg10/05/1997
Set off up Coire na Ghrunnda in light rain to do the southernmost two Munros on the Ridge. Rain got progressively heavier, by the time we'd got to here it was torrential, so gave up. Easy slabs on way up now waterfalls, even roped up for one bit! Horrendous bog on way back.Aye Jimmy25/08/1996
second ascent, 2 in party, climbed from the mem hut, started late on day of arrival - as it was a sunny day! scrambled up into the core then stopped for a break & a bit to eat on this top, descended to the lochan then scrambled up a stone chute/fault to the ridge and out to sgurr nan eag, returned down the ridge, great scrambling, turned a minor top and scrambled up onto sgurr dubh beag, then down to the col and scrambled up through ledges etc to the tiny summit of sgurr dubh mor. returned again to sgurr dubh beag and made a direct descent to the coire, very steep scrambling / easy climbing and returned to glen brittle, very late.rum doodle 10/07/1995
