Rain and dark creeping in so ran up and down this one without GFE. From ski centre: Carn Aosda, Creag a’ choire Dhirich, Carn a’ Gheoidh, Carn Bhinnein, Carn nan Sac, The Cairnwell (both tops). Some snow on tops. Started day in sunshine and had descended to howling wind and driving rain by the end. Great fun though!. 19kmFionalevey02/01/2022

From Glenshee Ski Centre (NO 13944 78092) - Carn Aosda - Carn nan Sac - Carn a' Gheoidh - The Cairnwell North Top - The Cairnwell. Navigation not too difficult, a mixture of good tracks and grassy paths throughout. Very windy during most of the walk, especially on The Cairnwell summit.david23020101/07/2019

Solo. From the car park at Glenshee Ski Centre. After ascending Carn Aosda and its North Top. From the North Top skirted the 903m top to the west and went on to the Cairnwell North Top and the Cairnwell. Descended directly down to the car park. Easy walking and a nice day.pwbellarby26/08/2016
